The ryokan is not up to the expectation as what google review or trip.com ratings. Suite is quite old and smelly. Onsen area have cob webs. The family onsen is not like ig picture standard with lots of insects and a gecko. Food nevertheless is ok.

Great place for family trip. Family baths are available for reservation as group. Family bathing with the super nice view. Services are also great there. Recommend for family trip.

Super satisfied! Full of memories! The reception staff are very friendly, courteous and take good care of the children 👍🏻 They also respond to requests quickly and efficiently! Our room is a two-story independent house. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable, and fully equipped. It has a private hot spring and a high degree of privacy. It is very convenient to soak in the hot spring with the children. Dinner and breakfast are provided, and the food quality is very good~ Very attentive! Highly recommended!

We booked two rooms, and both hot springs were outdoors. It was a unique experience to soak in the hot spring while looking at the mountains and forests. A few steps away was the forest, and there were deer. The breakfast and dinner were also very rich, and the kaiseki cuisine was colorful and high quality. The only thing was that there was a noticeable sound at night, which seemed to be the sound of wild animals. I asked the store owner, it might be a weasel... In short, it was a very good experience in a natural hot spring hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, the room has a hot spring, in addition you can book another hot spring for family use. It is recommended to stay two days to enjoy the hotel itself. Breakfast included, was service, lots of food, the whole table, staff super nice. It is a bit troublesome to get in and out of the hotel, to call a taxi, around 1000yen, several people share is ok. if you wanna bike there, it is almost impossible because there are some hills in between the hotel and the town. The only drawback is that the hotel has no shuttle service and is a little expensive. But the environment is beautiful, clean, good service.

It's a great place to stay as a couple. I went with three friends. It feels very private, so it's a good place to stay with couples rather than friends. It was clean, friendly, and there were people who spoke English and Korean, so there wasn't much of a problem with communication! Kaiseki is also very delicious. It's a little pricey, but it's a good place for couples to make good memories for a day.

I highly recommend Ikkoten! We recommend renting a car from Fukuoka Airport. It's a place you must visit at least once in your life :) They were so friendly and the breakfast was so delicious! It was nice to have a ryokan in the room and take a hot spring bath every day. Healing♡

The environment is quiet and comfortable. The staff are sincere and the mountain is quiet and comfortable. Stargazing at night makes you feel pure physically and mentally, far away from the hustle and bustle. In addition to the in-room hot springs, there are also indoor and outdoor hot springs available for reservation. The temperature was zero that night, and combined with the hot springs, it was not difficult at all.

The best accommodation experience during this trip to Kyushu. As a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel, we chose the one closest to Yufudake [Sufang]. I was lucky enough to catch up with the good weather, so I could enjoy the morning glow of Mount Yufu while taking a private bath in the morning. The breakfast and dinner selections using local ingredients are also impressive.

Excellent! Yufuin is too popular as a check-in spot, but this hot spring hotel is very good. It takes five or six minutes to take a taxi from the entrance of JR station. There are a total of 10 rooms in the hotel, but they are all independent houses, more like a small resort. There is an open-air private bath in the room, and you can also book a family bath. Free wine and drinks are also available after 4:30 p.m. We stayed in the Sufangwa Room. From the terrace, we could see the mountain view of Mt. Yufu, and a little further away was the Shirataki River. While soaking in the hot springs, eating refreshments provided by the hotel, and listening to the sound of streams and wind in the mountains and forests, this is what heaven is like.

Overall I'm very satisfied. Although it's not big, the environment is beautiful. It's surrounded by flowers and plants. It's far away from the city. So it's quiet and comfortable. The service is good. The accommodation and food are both exquisite. I'm most satisfied with it. You can book for one person/two people. Human bath, perfect for friends/couples who like to have private space, worth recommending❤️
