This place was absolutely amazing! The private bath inside the room was spacious enough for four people, and I loved that it had beds. Although the shower was outdoors, the hot water and water pressure were excellent, so it wasn't an issue at all. The Kaiseki dinner was incredibly delicious – I really enjoyed it. I definitely want to come back again! It was also convenient having a Korean-speaking staff member, and we could easily arrange the shuttle service via KakaoTalk. Simply the best!

The location is a bit far, but the shuttle service makes it manageable. However, the bamboo mat in the room had such a strong odor, it was almost unbearable. Even after my nose adjusted, the smell kept coming back.

Dinner and breakfast included was regular, portion size was small for me. Cleanliness was okay but not outstanding.

The accommodation is beautiful, the surrounding atmosphere is good, and there is an onsen hot spring to soak in. The food is delicious. **But what I am not very impressed with is the control of other service providers. Mostly, 99% on the day I stayed were Koreans who were not very polite. They did not know even the etiquette and rules of using the public hot spring. I am not sure if the owner of the accommodation has informed the rules of using the hot spring, which is something I cannot accept. They were loud, threw the earbuds on the floor, and were not orderly. They also wore shoes in the common area of the dressing room in the hot spring. I was very disappointed. It was a rather disappointing vacation, even though it should have been a good day for me. I lost the mood to soak in the atmosphere. I did not even have the heart to take pictures of the atmosphere with the accommodation.

The hot spring is good. A quiet place free from the crowd.

Although it's an older ryokan, it's well-maintained. A variety of amenities are provided, including chargers, pig noses, saline solution, and nail clippers, and parking is free. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. The sounds of birdsong, water, and the tranquil surroundings made for a relaxing atmosphere. When I visited, the public bath was open until 11 p.m., and the private hot spring (family bath) was limited to one use per stay, so it's best to make a reservation as early as possible. The only downsides were the unsanitary shower curtain and the strong smell of gas or petroleum in the family bath. However, the hot spring bath left my skin feeling incredibly soft, and the amenities were well-stocked. This ryokan offers a great value for money!

Scale-up

The facilities are quite old, but I was happy to receive this service at this price. At night, there are no convenience stores or other places to visit around the property, so I can't go out, but I think it's a great place to experience a ryokan in a quiet location. Some people said the hot spring water was lukewarm, but it was better than I expected.

It was a traditional, well-maintained structure. While it felt a bit dated, it was very clean. The room had a view of the mountains and the village, making it perfect for sipping tea with the window open. And the hot springs were fantastic.
