Oyado Yufunoshou

It's a great experience to experience a traditional Japanese ryokan. The staff are all friendly, and the kaiseki dinner and breakfast are perfect! The facilities have a timeless charm, but the hot springs are excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the rooms are spacious. Every moment was filled with a sense of leisure and peace.

This was the best accommodation I've had during my trip to Yufuin/Fukuoka! I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Yufuin for a night. First of all, it's a bit far. It's located in the mountains, so it's about a 15-20 minute drive from Yufuin Station. However, there's a free shuttle service, so if you make a reservation in advance, it's easy to get there. And the onsen here is absolutely fantastic. They have both indoor and outdoor onsen, and they give you plenty of time to use them, so we were able to enjoy them both in the evening and morning. We also had a triple room, and there was a private onsen inside the room, which was great because we could use it whenever we wanted :) It's a bit pricey, but we made up for it after having the onsen and the meal. The food is just as delicious. They serve dinner and breakfast, and we were absolutely stuffed. The dinner course is especially excellent. After reading the reviews and seeing the photos, I thought they'd stop at the meat, but they kept bringing salads, fish, desserts, and more. The slightly expensive price makes sense. The staff are also very friendly and helpful, and they explain everything to you. I can communicate in English and speak a little Korean, too :) I came here with friends, but I think it would be even better with family. If you're looking for a hot spring accommodation in Yufuin, I highly recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious local cuisine for breakfast and dinner. The staff's attentive service and hospitality were very comforting. We were also able to relax in the hot springs ♨️, which really helped to relieve our fatigue. Thank you very much.
