The hotel was quite unique and very pleasant. The Japanese-style rooms were large, very clean, comfortable, warm, and quiet, with a delightful fragrance. The onsen (hot spring) was a bit old, but conveniently located downstairs from the rooms, giving a homey feel. The hotel connects to a charming shopping area, allowing guests to pass through even when it's closed at night.
Aspects for improvement: If driving, the hotel parking lot was difficult to find based on the address; the GPS led to incorrect and difficult-to-drive roads, forcing me to use another parking lot. The hotel's back door was also difficult to close at night; hopefully, this can be repaired.

Advantages: 1/ Excellent location within the Flower Village, offering tranquility in the evenings and proximity to Jinlin Lake. 2/ Spacious rooms and extremely fast Wi-Fi.
Disadvantages: 1/ Check-in location is not very obvious. 2/ The route back to the hotel during the day is not clearly marked; you need to walk through shops to reach your room. 3/ Shoes are stored in a locker on the basement level; change into hotel slippers before going to your room, which is on the second floor; you need to carry your luggage upstairs. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This is in itself a nice place with nice houses and a cute village. However, the place is overcrowded with selfying tourists. The little shops sell things you don’t need for prices you wouldn’t pay anywhere else. There is a nasty smell. Close by is the Kinrin Lake. A must if you have never seen a small lake before, otherwise best skipped.

The village is rather small and narrow filled with shops selling various themed merchandise from Studio Ghibli, Peter Rabbit, Curious George and others. There’s also a paid owls enclosure which we skipped as its quite pricey. Come for the experience but be prepared to squeeze with the hordes of tourists. Merchandise were rather expensive and can also be found elsewhere.

The Yufuin Floral village was an attraction with cute shops resembling the Cotswolds in England. I was in the real Cotswolds Villages this year in March. Obviously, this was nowhere close. I did not appreciate the Owl Forest. Unlike the cats in the Cat cafe. Cats are domesticated and love human attention. The owls should not be confined and chained. The petting zoo was also a very cramped quarter. That left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this place

We bought a combined ticket for both the Owl Forest and the Cat Cafe and entered. The Owl Forest is not large, but there were many cute owls. You can gently stroke the owls with the back of your hand, except for the owls with the beginner's mark. Their fluffy fur felt good. You were allowed to take photos, but no flash photography. After that, we entered the cat cafe "Cheshire Cat Forest". Surprisingly, the cats did not approach my wife and I. Maybe it was because we had touched many owls at the Owl House before that? That said, some of the cats tolerated our massages, and we were soothed. The iced cafe latte was also delicious. I think you should stop by both the Owl Forest and the Cat Cafe.

I visited Yufuin on a holiday. I mainly visited the Cat Cafe and Owl Forest, so I will write about both. 1. About Cheshire Cat Forest A joint ticket for Owl Forest is also sold, so it is a good deal if you visit both. The usage time is fixed at 30 minutes, and you have to leave the store after 30 minutes from the time of check-in. The atmosphere inside the store was very calm, and there were more cats than I expected. It was fun to touch them and take pictures. They were cute when they jumped on the toys and played, and they were cute when they were curled up and sleeping. The 30 minutes went by in a flash, but I was glad that I came to the store because I was healed a lot. The drinks were sweet and delicious. 2. About Owl Forest When I entered the store, the staff taught me how to pet the owls, so even a beginner like me was able to gently touch the owls. It was my first experience touching an owl, and I was surprised that the feathers were softer than I expected when I petted them. When I walked around the store, there were more owls of different shapes and colors than I expected. There was an explanation on the back of each owl, which I think was a good opportunity to learn a little about owls. I had a great time touching, looking at, and taking pictures of the owls. There is also a service where you can dress up as Harry Potter and take a commemorative photo with an owl, for an additional fee.

We visited during the free time of the tour. This facility is located along Yunotsubo Kaido in Yufuin. It is a small facility with a mix of paid and free areas. There are rabbits, squirrels, owls, goats and other animals, and you can feed them, so your children may enjoy it. There are small shops selling Heidi, Totoro and Moomin, as well as a souvenir shop from Oita, where we bought some Gonbo Senbei crackers. Is the building modeled after the English countryside? It is crowded with many customers. It is a strange world.
