The Indian guy at the front desk was very handsome. The room was a little dated, but generally well-equipped. The tea powder was delicious, like something you'd find at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The orange cookies in the room had a rich orange flavor and were highly recommended. The hotel had a very relaxing Showa-era atmosphere. Early in the morning, I watched the sun shine on the trees outside. Even in winter, the trees were lush and green, bathed in the golden glow of the morning sun. Meals were served in the large banquet hall, which was noticeably understaffed, with several elderly staff working. However, the service was surprisingly attentive, and the food was delicious, with a truly high-quality flavor. The salmon sashimi was well-aged. The miso soup had a slightly mushroomy flavor, which wasn't particularly impressive. The pork Xiabu Xiabu hot pot was incredibly fragrant, with a strong ginger flavor and was delicious. One issue with the room was that the hot water was slow to come out, and I was repeatedly reminded that it would take about 20 to 30 minutes for the hot water to come out. However, since the hot water is from a spring, this was forgivable. There was no internet access in the room. The hot springs here are low-mineral, weakly alkaline, and high-temperature hot springs.

I searched online and found the best price, about 5,500 yen per person. However, I felt like the hotel was a bit hassle-free. First of all, slippers were charged, the lights in the hallway were dim, and the walk to the large public bath was soaking wet in the rain, meaning my bath was pointless. I thought they had all the manga volumes, but they only had the middle volume (One Piece). My room was on the corner, so it was hard to get in and it was very dim, and the walk to my room was creepy and a little scary. The green emergency exit light felt like it was floating in the dim hallway (like a school at night). I went to bed around 1:30 a.m., but I felt a presence and when I tried to get up, I was paralyzed. Just when I thought I was free, I was paralyzed again a few minutes later. I'm not sure if this was just my room, but it was a bit disappointing since I was traveling to relieve stress. I don't think the hotel is to blame, but I've decided I don't want to go back.

I use this hotel several times a year for fishing and work trips. It is crowded even on weekdays because there are discount plans. Credit cards are not accepted and payment is made in cash. Even if there are rooms available, they only accept about 20 groups. Is it because of a shortage of staff? The young part-time workers were working hard. From the reception on the first floor, you need to take the elevator to the second floor and then transfer. The rooms are old and not very clean. The tea is a powdered tea stick, which is disappointing. The sweets are mandarin cookies that are not very tasty, but considering the price of the accommodation, it can't be helped. There is an indoor bath in the room, but you need to wait for nearly 30 minutes for the hot spring water to come out. The food is served in a large hall with a wide selection. Breakfast is also sufficient. Wi-Fi is available near the lobby, but some rooms have no reception. The hot spring is a free-flowing water with a large amount of water, and there are plenty of open-air baths. It is a nice touch that they provide barley tea after the bath.

The open-air bath in the room was very spacious and comfortable. The large public bath was next to the room, but we enjoyed the open-air bath in the room, which was fed directly from the source. There was also an indoor bath, which was also hot spring water. There was a foot bath and hot spring pool on the rooftop, so I think it would be fun even if you went with a large group. Breakfast was from 8am and check-out was at 10am, so it was a bit hectic, but we were able to relax in the bath in the room. It was difficult to get Wi-Fi, but I thought it was nice not to have to use my smartphone.
