Tianmen Mountain Villa

The advantage is that it's close to the Waishuangxi Ropeway, just under a ten-minute walk up the steps, and the scenery is beautiful. Many people come here to sketch. However, the hygiene is really not good. The room door couldn't be locked, there were dead bugs on the windowsill, and even a dead cockroach on the bathroom glass door.

Right off the Wai Shuang Xi cable car, this place is perfect for travelers coming from that direction. Enjoying the cool evening breeze on the balcony is incredibly relaxing, and the views are great too. The hotel has its own restaurant, which is quite convenient. Don't expect too much when staying on a mountain; this place shines in its low price. If you have high expectations for facilities, you might want to choose another hotel on the mountain, but if you're budget-conscious, this is a great option.

No ventilation in the bathroom, the bathroom fan was broken. The bed sheets had stains, and what looked like blood stains, I don't know what room it was. It was damp and smelled strongly of mold. The service was poor, and there was no hot water, only from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM every night. The machine isn't recommended, please don't stay here. No hot water in the morning either.

For accommodation up in the mountains, this place offers great value for money. It's very close to the upper station of the Waishuangxi cable car. The landlady is very kind and even allowed us to check in early in the morning when we arrived, which was helpful for us to lighten our luggage and go up the mountain with ease.

I guess it's livable, but for this price, I could stay at a Hilton down the mountain. Given the facilities and environment up here, I guess I'll just have to put up with it. It's incredibly damp. There's no air conditioning for dehumidification, so the room humidity must be 80-90%, if not 100%. Even the cups are wet; if you touch them twice, it feels like water is coming off them.

I would only choose this hotel if I had no other option. The room had a strong musty smell, was damp and old, and the facilities were completely subpar. I originally planned to just give up and not stay, even forfeit the money, but since the cable car down the mountain closed after 5:00 PM, I had no way to go down and find another hotel. I've never seen such a bad hotel.

It's tough up in the scenic area, but this hotel shouldn't be as bad as a 50-yuan motel, especially since it cost 400 yuan!

The rooms on the mountain were a bit damp. However, the hotel provided an electric blanket, which effectively solved the problem.

Seriously, there was no other option. I had to stay at a hotel in the mountains to avoid the crowds during peak hours. The only good thing was the electric blanket. I even slept in my clothes because I felt the hygiene was questionable. Don't even get me started on the bathroom. Anyway, there really was no other choice. Sanqingshan is still beautiful though.
