This time, I stayed at The Lost Villa Valley, Yuyao, a secluded gem nestled in Siming Mountain! The pure white, minimalist 'Acropolis' architecture is scattered amongst the mountains, with large floor-to-ceiling windows framing the mountain scenery like a painting. The raw concrete and bamboo create a truly sophisticated vibe. The butler was incredibly enthusiastic and accommodating, even upgrading our room for free! Our room had a gentle, woody aesthetic with its own private courtyard. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and gazing out at the lush greenery was incredibly therapeutic. The service was exceptionally thoughtful: our dedicated butler contacted us in advance to guide our route, provided fresh fruit daily, and even delivered warm sweet soup at night – it's all in the details. The food was amazing: I have to commend the chef at the Yuyao branch! This was the most surprisingly delicious meal I've ever had at The Lost Villa. The local chicken soup, fish head soup, stir-fried local chicken, and small stir-fried dishes were all incredibly fresh and flavorful. For breakfast, the dried bamboo shoot noodles are a hidden gem. The second floor of the restaurant has round tables, and we sat on the terrace, eating while waiting for the sea of clouds to appear. Important message, repeating three times: Pet-friendly for FREE!
