Great value for money, and very clean. The owners, a couple, speak both Chinese and Japanese, are really kind and helpful, and dedicated to running the place. It is a guesthouse after all, so everyone should help keep the shared spaces tidy and quiet for everyone's benefit. They offer shuttle service to the ski resort and meal bookings. There's also a drying room and a designated smoking area. We didn't use the guesthouse's bath but went to try the onsen next door instead.

Not gonna lie, the experience there is over my expectation! The house owner couple is really friendly and warm!🥺 🗣️Language: Chinese Mandarin, Japanese friendly 🏡Environment: by walk is only 10 minutes away from the Naeba ski site Southgate! And the house is really clean and have the traditional Japanese slide door room, classic! If you have the snowboard, they can let you lock it outside of the lobby(still in the house) And even better, they got a dry room, so your gear can be definitely dry overnight! They got the washing machine so you don’t need to worry about the dirty laundry! 🚙Transportation: they can give you a free ride every morning and afternoon(limited , need to tell the owner) 🍱 food: really good they are home made by the house owner, and he got over 20 years of cooking experience around Yuzawa! I love these guys and gonna come back again😎

Nice place near Naeba ski resort – short walk to the slopes.
The married couple who run it are very friendly and helpful. They gave free pick-up and drop-off, which was awesome.
Loved the tatami room – super comfy and cozy.
Would definitely stay again if I come back to Naeba! (5 stars)

I arrived late at night, but the staff were very kind and helpful. I would have appreciated having a yukata or something similar to sleep in.

The breakfast potion is big and the price is reasonable. The bus stop is only 150 meter from the hotel. There are mini supermarkets, restaurants and ski rental around. It is a good location. The owner is very friendly.

The owners are super friendly and even speak Mandarin, so I had no trouble communicating despite my poor Japanese. On the first day, they took us to rent equipment and then to the ski resort. They have a drying room, which is perfect for skiers. The large bathtub in the bathroom was boarded up and seemed unusable, though. There's a small convenience store right below the inn, which is very handy. Restaurants are also available nearby.
