Yuzawa Inns

There is a 24-hour convenience store near the station, and the location is great. However, be careful as the parking lot is small. The lobby is small and there is a chair fight. I checked in from 14:00 (it is possible if I pay an additional fee), but it was still a little crowded and there was a chair fight. Check-in was given priority, so the check-in time was about 5 minutes. If you don't like the small rooms, you shouldn't come. (The Japanese suite is relatively large because it has two bedrooms) The view is not good. There is air conditioner, but it is fixed to 24 ℃ in winter and is hot. The food was delicious and there were so many, but it was good (however, the breakfast the next day I ate soba at night was hell) However, from 15:00, it is difficult to make a reservation for meals from 17:30. Because it is difficult, Check in from 14:00 will be easier to take. The hot spring was the best. There are three private baths, but the place called ”Iwanoyu” is crowded, and depending on luck on the day you check in (relatively vacant during dinner) ”Iwanoyu” is vacant early in the morning of the next day (around 4:00 to 6:00). In addition, there are ice candy (free) (evening and night) and Yakult (free) (early morning to morning) at the bathing area, and you can eat ”night soba” for free from 23:00. The service was substantial. The room had a coffee mill and coffee beans and I was able to enjoy authentic coffee. The customer service was also good. It happened to be good, but the people in the lobby and the people in the restaurant were good with a clear voice. (There seems to be no other customer service)

There is a slope in front of you and the best location. This time, I used a plan with a ski lift ticket, so it was very good value. The room was a long time ago, but there is no problem because it only sleeps after skiing. The gondola from Naeba Ski Resort to the next Kagura Ski Resort was wonderful. However, it was difficult to have a balanced meal because it was an accommodation plan without meals. Since it was a weekday, there were many restaurants on holidays, and I felt that every restaurant was generally more valuable than the quality. There are two large communal baths, but one of the men's baths was under repair and could not be used, and the only underground large communal bath that was available was incredibly far away. Also, it was dark and lacking in cleanliness, probably because it wasn't cleaned very well, so I didn't want to enter twice. I think it would be difficult to stay unless it was for skiing purposes.

I have been to Yuzawa on snowboard for about 15 years and there is a regular inn, but I have a gate in front of the station and stayed with my family because I wanted to stay at a large inn. It's old, but it was more normal than I expected. The uncle at the front desk on the first day was very kind (o ^^ o) Amazake is also free and very delicious! The room was a large room for 3 people! Amenity is minimal and yukata is normal. There is a humidifier in the room. The large communal bath is on the first and third floors, and my husband liked it because he wanted to enter the sauna. Breakfast is not a buffet, but it is delicious with a lot of side dishes such as hot tofu and rice in the pot. I went there for dinner because there are famous shops around the station. I thought it would be nice if I went by private car not in front of the station. The sound of the Shinkansen, the sound of snow removal around, and the people on the road are surprisingly noisy and can be heard quite a bit. And although it was said that it was a three-day holiday, it was said that Wi-Fi was not connected because Yuzawa itself was crowded. Too vulnerable. .. ( -`) But overall it was a good hotel.

Stunning place to stay. Amazing views from very spacious rooms. Excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble. Teens had the best time exploring and making snow men. Enjoyed skiing at a close resort as Naspa skiing was over for the season. Easy access to town bus leaves every half hr.

Overall it's old, but it's well cleaned. It was good that the room (standard Japanese-style room １０ tatami mats) was large enough for four adults. I was worried that it would not be annoying in the room right in front of the large communal bath. As a result, it wasn't annoying, but it was already very far from the １ large communal bath and the elevator I took at meals. The scenery I was expecting to see in the photo was disappointing because the glass was cloudy inside and I couldn't see it while soaking outside. The bath with color 々 is also disappointing. Meals are normal. The soup powder that only women specially served was very delicious and I was happy. While I think young people and foreigners are working hard, I can't hear the basic words in the basics of the hospitality business from the mouth of the veteran man at the store and the front desk, ”thank you” It was uncomfortable. It was a very satisfying stay with a feeling of cleanliness and neat cleaning. Breakfast was included in the accommodation and dinner was taken at the restaurant in the building. Both were delicious. The two large communal baths were beautiful and the view was good. There was an open-air bath surrounded by snow and an open-air bath with a large mountain in front of me, so it was beautiful and relaxing. There were many small children staying, so I was full of energetic energy. On the other hand, I saw quite a few people staying in three generations of family. Overall, I think it was an environment where everyone seemed to enjoy and felt happy. I used it for skiing this time, but it was a hotel that I would like to stay even if I didn't ski.

Close to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, the location is almost perfect. The staff were very friendly and the service was very friendly. It is near Echigo Yuzawa Station. It is located on the side of the line of the Shinkansen and Joetsu line, and it is not a high platform, so it is not an inn to enjoy the scenery. Enter the entrance and turn left and reach the front desk. It feels like a business hotel rather than an inn. Because of the corona countermeasure, the counter at the front desk does not carry out any procedure, and it is done on the sofa. You can pass the pen and describe the inn book, but the pen is not used. There is also a lounge, but it was not open. It was a room Japanese room 10 tatami mats, but there were also 6 tatami mats like the next room, and I felt wide. The bath is on the opposite side of the front desk on the first floor. There is a slightly wet inner bath 1 and a hot open-air bath, and the Joetsu Shinkansen downhill can be seen 々. The towel is very thick, and it is not possible to use it as a hand towel, and I think it is better to bring a body towel in the room. The meal is a dining room on the second floor. It was designated as 19:30. There are waiters and waitresses, but most of them seem to be in training, and the timing of bringing food is slow, and if you don't urge again, you won't fire a pot or a pot. There was no Nakai in wafuku, and it was like a business hotel with Japanese rooms and hot springs. There were few rooms, and the bath was not crowded, and I was able to relax without worrying.

My stay at the Takahan Ryokan was wonderful thanks to the welcoming staff, classic room layout and view, and history of the property. I arrived at Gala Yuzawa Station a little before the official check-in time (3:00 pm) but was still picked up within five minutes after calling. The staff member on the phone spoke good English, as did the two staff members - both non-Japanese - who welcomed me at the hotel. Everyone was patient and went out of their way to help me and answer questions. One staff member led me up to my room on the fifth floor of the hotel, showing me the entrance to the baths from the hot spring presumably under the property and the room Kawabata Yasunari wrote ”Snow Country” in, both on the first floor, along the way. I was really happy with the room, which was quite large by Japanese standards and had a great view. As another reviewer noted, the amenities in the room are dated, but I thought that just added to the charm. As a fan of Kawabata Yasunari, I really enjoyed the history of the place and the chance to look out on the town from the same vantage point he described in his novel. The comfortable seating - with tea set - on the room's balcony/veranda made this especially enjoyable to do. Overall, my stay at the Takahan was one of the most memorable and enjoyable I've had. Highly recommended.
