We hosted 4 nights, the staff was very friendly and we had no problem with the valet parking were always pointful to deliver our car, the location is perfect, noiseless at least so was, good restaurant, The hotel is old but has what is needed and is very careful , everything is close to shops and pharmacies restaurants , personally my husband and I liked everything and clearly we would like to come back some day . It doesn't include breakfast but it has a good restaurant and many food options a few steps.

The location is right next to Zacatecas Cathedral Square and the downtown area of the historic site. It is very convenient to travel and walk around the ancient city. It is very pleasant and will stay next time.

my son got married on November 20 there, the wedding was beautiful, everything was spectacular, This is a great hotel, for its location is incredibly beautiful, in general it has very good maintenance, it needs an urgent remodeling, we have been more than 3 times here, the first was more than 15 years ago, furniture, carpets, curtains, etc ..., they are the same, If they already looked old now they seem to be more than 100 years old, they don’t look like antiques, they look like furniture from a haunted house 😹.In the bathrooms the showers and toilets could be changed, they are also very old, they would give it a more adoc touch with the hotel category, it is a 5-star hotel, the cost-benefit ratio is not the best. however it is 100% recommended. The Camino Real hotels and their brands were generally excellent, top quality hotels, I would have classified them as grand tourism hotels, We, my family and friends have been in some of them in different places in Mexico and sadly they aren’t even the shadow of what they were not many years ago, the appearance in general has dropped a lot, hopefully they will return to the category they had without increasing their rates

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel. I booked it through a hotel website. The room we booked online looked spacious advertised at 300 square feet. It had a separate living area with sofa and table. The cost was more expensive than most in the area, but it was supposed to be spacious and was centrally located. However, when we checked-in, they gave us tiny room barely larger than the king size bed. The actual room was nowhere near 300 sq. feet, and it also does not have the living area as in the online photos. The room was so small that it was difficult to maneuver with luggage. I showed them at the hotel the pictures from the website, and they just shrugged me off. I told them I wanted a refund. They told me that they couldn’t, and I had to talk to the manager the next day. I wasn’t going give them any reason to not get a full refund, so I booked a room at another hotel and left shortly thereafter without staying in the room. I called the next day (March 10, 2022), and the manager was conveniently not around and never returned my call. This was a classic bait and switch, as you can see by the pictures. The room I was provided was clearly not the room I had reserved with the hotel, and even though I could prove it they refused to give me a refund. I disputed the credit card charge and got my money back

I liked the experience in general. Very rich breakfast of courtesy. The facilities were clean and it was nice to see the morning in my window. I knew it was a historic site and I call my attention. I will certainly be home again there.
