Reviews of Klelia Beach Hotel by Zante Plaza

The facilities are outdated and do not meet four-star standards at all. Hygiene is questionable; the food is damp and smelly. The meals felt perfunctory; the tableware wasn't properly washed before being served. There is no public transportation nearby.

I highly recommend! Probably the best service so far in Zakynthos (and we been here over 6 times). Very friendly and attentive staff, great food, clean everywhere. Location close to the sea, 2 minutes walk from Kalamaki beach. Very fair price-quality ratio

Had a lovely holiday celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Not been to Kalamaki since 2011 with the children and stayed at the opposite end of the resort. Pool was lovely and beds comfy Rooms lovely size and clean towels everyday Food was ok something for everyone everyday did gave a couple of meals out but wanted to see old places we used to go to. On a night however found it very strange nowhere really comfortable to sit and have a drink at 11pm!!!! As the bar closed One thing I do hate is the fact that people still coming in in swim wear despite notices saying not to. Overall enjoyed the place and loved being back in Kalamaki

Before I can to Khelia I read all the reviews both positive and negative. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel then Khelia is slightly and I mean slightly a rough diamond. If you are looking for a 5 star experience, where your children are safe, your rooms are cleaned daily, the food is plentiful and beautiful all day, the pool cleaned daily and maintained and the staff cannot do enough for you then book Khelia Beach for your next holiday. Our first visit to Greece and it won't be the last. The most beautiful week. Would love to return soon.

We just got back from a week staying here (20th may-27may 2026) , when we arrived there was no staff to greet us and was hanging around about 10mins before the reception staff turned up, apart from that all check in well and room was clean and fairly large with big balcony and whirl pool ( which we didn't use as one wasn't private very over looked and two was very noisy, views were lovely thou and watching thr planes coming in and out also fab sunsets , location is great to the beach 5 mins walk and then also close to parade of shops & restaurants. Pool area is clean although their are starting to update the sun loungers and parasols hopefully their all be updated to new ones because the old ones are uncomfortable. And don't relie on the lifeguard , barely did his job off doing other jobs or on his phone or having meals . Maid was great at her job kept the room clean and tidy and we did have issue at one point with room card and Aircon but quickly sorted by reception staff. Food was great with lots of choices for breakfast , lunch and dinner , puddings are too yummy as my scales have noticed . Only thing I'd add here is desserts need labels on what their are and lids to hot plates need to be looked up some stay up some don't so little awkward if you got hands full. There lots of posts up about don't reserve sunbeds, don't use own bottles to fill up drinks , don't take plates and glasses to pool area or room but unless staff gonna help enforce this nothing gonna change , by 6am sun beds were being reserved and then people going out all day before their used them. Food being taken out to pool areas on plates etc. Over all good Stay , just some minor details missing and need improving but if I ever visit Zante again would stay here again

We had a lovely time at Klelia. The staff are fantastic and always happy. I expected limited food options given the size of the hotel but it was really good. Several meat or fish options every night. And breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks were all good and varied. The location is perfect. Not a long transfer and leisurely 5 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach. The rooms are fine and impeccably cleaned, as are all communal areas. A great place to spend a holiday. The only issue i had is that our rooms aren’t sound proof and as soon as somebody starts moving nearby your lie in has gone. And not everything needs lemon sauce on it.

I love the place, the rooms, and the staff are total pros and friendly - always on hand to help, clean all the time especially in the restaurant. Food's a highlight too - loads of options, all inclusive, so you can eat like royalty without breaking the bank.❤️

A nice, quiet hotel, great for families. The room we were checked into didn't quite fulfil our needs, but as soon they were able, the staff had us moved to a bigger room. We were very pleased with this service, and staff genuinely seemed to care that we were happy. Fay on reception is very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Great experience at this hotel so far! The staff are lovely and very welcoming, food is very nice, pool is great and clean and the room is comfortable.

Hotel is nice - it’s in a good location close to the beach - quite quiet away from the laganas strip - food is served fresh and different every day - rooms could be upgraded a little !
