酒店在馬路邊上，旁邊還有學校，較為嘈雜。
設施比較老舊，洗手間衹有肥皂，房間內味道不太友好，最為關鍵的價格非常高，性價比超低。

The hotel provides the barest minimum of services for guests. There is no lift, and the restaurant for breakfast is on the fifth floor. The rooms are sparsely furnished, and internet access is very patchy. The friendly disposition of the staff barely makes up for the deficiencies in the facility. The views of the city are better on the higher floors

We spent a beautiful stay at DOZ from August 29 to September 10 2019.nous We were very welcome. We recommend the different restaurants that you eat very well. The hotel is excellent, staff are always at the small care on the beach, breakfast, dinner and always with a smile. Cocktails are very good. Zanzibar is a beautiful country where there are very beautiful beaches. We will return there without waiting for too long before a mass tourism that risks degrading the image of this beautiful country. Thank you again to Mwinyi and the staff of the DOZ.

Planned to go to Barbados for my silver wedding anniversary but tour operator went bust so had to find an equivalent quick booked this having no idea where Zanzibar was second flight was all but empty which concerned me got to the hotel and was stunned after two weeks it is imponssible to fault all the staff are amazing including mwinny the guest relation man and ”go to” guy for any problems this is a hidden jewel in the Indian ocean that more Brits should try you won't be disappointed.

I had to wait almost an hour to checkin after specifying what time I’d be there.  Got my room, which was right by the street which was the noisiest street! I left to go get lunch since management told me theres no restaurant; it’s just open for breakfast. I knew this hotel would be further from shops so it having a restaurant was a big deal to me.   Booking.com said there’s a kettle in the room, there wasn’t. I had to ask for one. Soundproof rooms: they were definitely not. No lift. No safety deposit box. No games room or table tennis. No atm on site.  When I came back from lunch, couldn’t stand the noise so decided to check out. Manager tried to convince me to stay only because giving me a refund would pose such a big deal.  I agreed to paying for one day even though I wasn’t even there! They called me the next day and said he incorrectly charged me for the booking when I arrived- he charged me in TZS instead of US dollars. So that still insisted he’ll send a link for me to book and pay for atleast 1 night! What a mess! And unprofessional.  When I said it’s not fair or good service, the manager simply put the phone down i. My ear.  The building itself is run down and nothing like any photos you see in google or booking.com. Not maintenanced at all. Inside, it looks neat and tidy however.  Would not recommend staying here unless you’re just looking for a place to sleep and don’t mind noise.
