A typical small European hostel, but for Switzerland, this price is fair. The breakfast is quite generous. However, it's pretty far from the train station, which is really inconvenient if you have luggage, unless you're willing to shell out for a taxi within the town. But then again, if I'm staying in a hostel, why would I want to spend extra money on a taxi? Zermatt truly is incredibly beautiful though!!

As other reviews mention, the stairs right in front are killer, haha. The high altitude also makes it tough, but the view is absolutely stunning, and I knew what I was getting into when I booked, so it's all good! The breakfast was delicious, and seeing the Matterhorn from the breakfast area was just incredible.

Spur-of-the-moment trip to Zermatt, and we lucked out with amazing weather! I booked a quad room and emailed them three days prior to request a female-only room, which they accommodated. It was really clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the showers and toilets were separate and also very clean, with separate facilities for men and women. The breakfast was impressive, and the view from the room's window was unbeatable. I'd definitely recommend staying here again next time; it's unbeatable value for money.

The hostel is located on higher ground, so there are some stairs to climb, but thankfully I didn't have a suitcase. The Matterhorn is visible right from the entrance, and it's incredibly spectacular. I booked the cheapest mixed dormitory, which is a bunk room. Luckily, everyone else was quiet, and I slept soundly. You can even see the Matterhorn from the dorm window. Additionally, the hostel's service was excellent; the front desk staff were very friendly. I only brought a European adapter, and the front desk staff lent me a Swiss adapter, which was a huge help! Lastly, the hostel's breakfast was also very generous, and I was very satisfied!

The room was clean, just as shown in the photos. I could see the Matterhorn from the window, which was perfect. Just keep in mind that you need to climb quite a lot of stairs to reach the hostel. There is no elevator, and since I stayed on the highest floor, it was a bit exhausting. Apart from the stairs, everything was perfect.
