The room was fantastic! Great service too! Excellent value for money. It's only about 100-200 meters from the West Gate of the scenic area, so you can easily walk there. Super convenient! The bedding was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious!

Zhangjiajie Zhiguiju: An amazing experience, highly recommended! The biggest surprise of my Zhangjiajie trip was staying at Zhiguiju! The guesthouse is easy to find, right by the road, and the room offers stunning peak forest views right from the window. It's wonderfully quiet and therapeutic, away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet super convenient. It's just a few minutes' drive from the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park West Gate and the Yangjiajie cable car. The room was clean and spacious. We stayed in a scenic view room, and opening the curtains revealed breathtaking mountain views, creating a fantastic ambiance perfect for photos. The manager was incredibly warm and attentive. Not only did they help plan our sightseeing route, but they also recommended authentic local food and responded quickly to any questions we had. The service was top-notch. Lunch and dinner were delicious and plentiful, with fresh ingredients, all stir-fried fresh to order! We were incredibly satisfied with the food. Overall, it was a perfect experience. This is definitely the best place to stay in Zhangjiajie, and I've already recommended it to friends. If I ever come back, I'll be staying here again!

We spent a really amazing stay at No.5 Lodge! The place is brand new, non-smoking and the owner is making the experience seamless and unforgettable. The hotel is at 5 min walking from the West Gate so really easy for visiting Zhangjiajie National Park. Definitely opt for the West Gate if you plan to visit the park, it’s one of the last gate built and so you will skip all the crowds used to come from the East Gate. For planning your visit in the Zhangjiajie park or Tienman Mountains, don’t hesitate to ask to the manager, he will advise how to schedule your itineraries and some maps are available at the office. Regarding the restaurant and food, you can eat at the hotel where the owner will cook a lot of food for you in the evening or will bring you at another restaurant of the branch. During the day you will find plenty of food in the park. In the nutshell we recommend to stay here for your journey in the Avatars Mountains

We must have arrived out of season, as we were the only guests. The room was large and spacious with huge windows. Everything was good, but it was clear the place had just been opened up after being closed for a while – there were some dead flies here and there, and a bit of plaster had come off, but it still looked charming. It's about a 300-meter walk to the West Gate. A taxi to the city costs 100, or 150 if booked through the hotel.
