This hotel has a great design, it's simple and comfortable, and is also a great spot for taking photos. **Facilities:** There's a restaurant, a free laundry room, and a swimming pool. **Hygiene:** Very clean. **Environment:** The hotel is close to the North Gate, so it's much quieter than the East Gate. You can enjoy mountain views from your room and the restaurant terrace. **Service:** Warm and friendly. The hotel can be a bit hard to find, so they arrange pick-ups and drops-offs, and even help suggest reasonable tour routes and drop guests off at the scenic area entrance (I didn't get to experience this as I had pre-booked a car). The hotel butler also confirms everything in advance. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

This summer, I took my kids to Zhangjiajie and we stayed at the Juanjie Liangshe Homestay. Initially, I was worried about its remote location near the North Gate, but the actual experience far exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic. The homestay offers free daily shuttle service to and from the scenic area's North Gate, so you don't have to worry about transportation at all. I highly recommend entering the mountain in reverse (against the main flow of tourists); it perfectly avoids the tour group crowds. We barely had to queue for the eco-bus, the Bailong Elevator, or the cable car, which saved us a lot of energy when hiking with children. The homestay service was incredibly thoughtful. They offered a complimentary airport pick-up. Breakfast could be delivered directly to our room, so we didn't have to wake up early to go downstairs, which was perfect for a family with kids. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Being deep in the mountains, it was exceptionally quiet, and we had great quality sleep every night. The amenities in the courtyard are excellent for children. There's a small stream next to the homestay where kids can play, and a pool table. My children had a blast every day. The local farm dishes served at the homestay were authentic and delicious, though the selection was a bit limited and the prices were a little high. The housekeeper patiently helped us plan our scenic routes. Overall, it was peaceful and comfortable, highly suitable for families looking to avoid peak crowds.

Hidden among the peaks of Zhangjiajie, Juannong Lianshe is a truly healing guesthouse that deserves five stars! As soon as you open the window, you're greeted by lush green mountains and misty clouds. The minimalist aesthetic and decor create a fantastic ambiance. Our panoramic mountain-view room offered a comfortable and restful sleep, while the smart amenities and the scenic bathtub added a luxurious touch. The infinity pool, courtyard tea room, and other recreational facilities are all excellent. The local dishes, prepared with ingredients sourced from their own mountain fields, were delicious and didn't disappoint. The staff are attentive and reliable, offering free shuttle services to the scenic spots and helping to plan custom itineraries. This is the perfect escape from the city. If you're coming to Wulingyuan, you absolutely must stay here!
