Days Hotel by Wyndham (Zhangjiajie 72 Wonder Tower Scenic Area)

The hotel package included two adult night passes, and there was a dedicated hotel entrance, making it very convenient to enter and exit multiple times throughout the night. From the hotel window, you could see the lively performances downstairs. In the distance, you could even spot the mountains of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The staff were very helpful. When I checked out, I left a drink behind, and they even called me to confirm if I needed it back – very thoughtful. There were plenty of dining options downstairs, including a 'Cha Yan Yue Se' (tea shop). The parking lot was spacious and parking was easy.

This hotel, opened in 2025, still has a pungent smell of renovation in the rooms, especially when lying in bed – it's unbearable for someone with allergies. As for service, there is none. I called for things and waited forever with no one delivering them. I had to call three or four times before someone reluctantly brought them. Then, inexplicably, a robot delivered a plastic bag in the middle of the night. On top of that, a 'star-rated hotel' claims to not have a laundry or gym, what false advertising! The elevator listed these floors, but when I went to check, they were all guest rooms. I asked the front desk, and they said it was 'under renovation' and I'd have to go to another hotel 100 meters away to do laundry. What's the point of staying here then? I'm paying more money to do laundry, only to have to run out at night to another hotel. It's ridiculous! If I had known these facilities weren't available from the start, I would have booked elsewhere. This place is worse than a budget hotel.

The room is well-equipped, close to attractions and shopping, and conveniently located near the train station.

Right above Qilou, stepping out means food! The hotel meets standard expectations, and the hygiene is decent. The shower water pressure is just okay. It's owned by the same boss as the neighboring Ji Hotel, so you have to go there to do laundry, which is a bit inconvenient.

The room was great and we even got an upgrade! They also gave us two extra meal vouchers when they saw we had a child and were short. The location is super convenient, right at the exit of Qilou Old Street No. 72.

The room was clean and spacious, and the hygiene was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and they even gave us complimentary attraction tickets. It was a really nice touch!

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. It offers great value for money; for this price, the quality is truly impressive. It's very close to the airport, which is convenient for business trips. Plus, it's right next to Bailian Outlets, with plenty of food options, and the subway station is just outside the door.
