It was okay, the owner is very friendly (and I think he can speak English) and it's close to the station that takes you up the mountains. The room was a bit dirty and the sheets had holes in them, the biggest problem was the water which was never warm enough for showering. Overall it was not bad, you can definitely find worse!

Excellent hotel! Clean and a good location to access Tianmen Mountain and Wulingyuan Ticket Station. The owners were very friendly and helpful!

A cute, affordable, and cozy place to stay with a good location, within walking distance to many restaurants and markets. The room was clean and equipped with essentials like clean bath towels, slippers, toothbrushes, and outlets with USB charging jacks. The hotel owners were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We would love to stay there again.

Jerry speaks English and is a great help for anyone needing recommendations. Short walk to cable car and dozens of very cheap restaurants with authentic meals. Room was large and clean with a nice separate small tea room. Bed was firm, which was fine for me. Convenient place to stay for a few days.

Excellent location and has comfortable, clean rooms which had everything we wanted. The host was lovely and helped us organize and book what we wanted to see in the area. He speaks English quite well. I highly recommend staying here.

Nice quality-price ratio. Close to the bus station. You can take a didi or go walking to the city center

Location is convenient, about 10min walk to cable car station. Hotel owner is friendly and gives good advice. Recommend this hotel if u r looking for a value for money option.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel California. The location is perfect ( only 10 min walk to the tianmen ticket station) with plenty of restaurants near by. the room is clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shower had excellent pressure and consistent hot water! The host was very kind and helped giving us tips on how to navigate the Tianmen park. We loved it and we will certainly recommend Hotel California to our friends.
