Jiezhi Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Sign Store)

A nice hotel with very good location. Staff were friendly and breakfast provided was very good. This is a good place to stay if you want to enjoy Avatar Mountains and Grand Canyon.

the location is PERFECT 15mins walk to the north gate of national park, 2mins walk to the bus stop where you can take a 40mins bus to the south gate 10mins on taxi to the gangling cave 10mins walk to the really nice walking area

The hotel has a very good location, max 10 min from the east gate, right next to the bus station that can take you to the Grand Canyon. They helped us with the entrance tickets and explained the exact route. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable but quality stay near Zhangjiajie Forest Park! The service was some of the best I've had in China, the staff always greeted me with a smile and one woman in particular was very helpful when I ran out of data and she hotspot me! The location was fantastic, only a 15-20 minute walk from the East gate and 10 minute walk into the main part of Wulingyuan, plenty of options for food around as well. Bed was super comfortable, just the right amount of softness, and soundproofing in the room was adequate for a good night's sleep. The cleanliness was slightly lacking in certain areas but overall sufficient and I would definitely stay here again should I ever find myself in Wulingyuan in the future!

Western tourist review: no problems with check in or anything. The hotel generally looks a bit like it has seen better times, but at the same time this seems to be fairly reflected in the price so we can absolutely recommend it. The location is fantastic, being super central yet not in the busiest sections of the city. Maybe worth noting that if you're a very early sleeper there is a pharmacy/alternative medicine place playing a repeated message on repeat till 9 or so... Not particularly bad, but a bit irritating. Also worth highlighting is that there is a washing machine on the top floor, seems to be decently common in China from what we can tell, but particularly useful when you're hiking a bunch.

The location is great for those who want to get to the National Park really fast. It takes 10 minutes on foot to get to the main entrance of the park. However if you want to experience the night life of the village, it will take you 15 minutes on foot to reach the embankment and busy streets with shops and restaurants. The breakfast is poor but you can always find something you can quickly eat: eggs, rice pie and local dishes. The furniture is pretty old but the bed is huge!

The hotel with its traditional design is extremely beautiful. Our room was very big and comfortable. All amenities were provided like toothbrush and comb. The shower was very big and there is also a bath. The staff was very kind and available.
