Z Plus Mountain Resort Inn（Peak of National Forest Park Store）

This hotel doesn't deserve the ranking and pricing of hkd 1500-2000. While the location is supposedly prime because of its scenery and very near to the entrance of the Zimu station to forest park, it is very far away from the center. There are not enough restaurants/cafes to support the isolation. And it doesn't help because the food by the hotel is not palatable. The room is big but the building and furniture maintenance is poor. There is a smell from the toilet drainage and the furniture are worn out. The dining area for breakfast is dirty and the food served did not meet the taste and hygiene standard of a good hotel. The only saing grace was the friendliness of the receptionist. Highly not recommended until the operator/owner wakes up to being responsible for matching the price to its quailty. It is a wonder to me that it had so much good ratings in Ctrip that I am left wondering if I am asking too much or Ctrip review is not reliable at all?

we had a lovely stay at z-plus! once we booked the accomodation, the host quickly reached out to us via WeChat, arranged for transport to pick us up from zhangjiajie city. The accomodation is extremely close (5+ minutes?) walk to the 中门 (centre gate) which is so much less crowded compared to wulingyuan. the rooms are clean, spacious and the host gave us really good recommendations where would be good to hit up in the park given the weather and time we had. would highly recommend Z-plus!

My stay was simply wonderful ! Beaufitul room, very clean with a beautiful view on the mountains. They picked me up at the airport and took me back to my next destination which is amazing. Xiao Long gave me incredible service throughout the stay with perfect itinerary for Zhangjiajie Park. I recommend this hotel without hesitation !

This beautiful hotel in a quiet village is located very near to Zhangjiajie forest park. The workers were very helpful and polite. One day the water wasn’t warm enough, but the next day everything was fine. I heard about problems with water in the hotels near the mountains so I wasn’t very worried about it. I also like breakfast here

Wonderful stay - super close to the South Park gate. Room had an amazing view and had a great bath tub and comfy bed ! The Owner and staff were extremely helpful and helped with all our questions and as a guide to the park. Would definitely recommend !

Z Plus Resort Inn is a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the busy towns surrounding Zhangjiajie National Park. It's nearby location to the Zimugang Gate makes it a perfect 5 minute walk before and after a day at the park. The staff is warm and welcoming, providing ideas and travel tips as well as helping to book tickets in advance. The suggestions they gave for hiking and visiting the park made my daily excursions memorable. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was nice to relax in after a day of hiking and exploring. Although it may be tricky to get a Didi depending on the time of day, the hosts always helped, especially with my transfer to the airport. I would highly recommend the Z Plus Resort if you'd like a quieter and beautiful stay near the National Park.

The Z hotel provides modern rooms with panoramic glass-window views of the Zhangjiajie landscape. It is located a short walk from a South ticket entrance to the famous national park and home of Avatar's Halleluia mountain. The room had a Zen feel with wooden floors and LED lighting and large bath tub. The bed was huge and the waffle cotton bedding very comfy - an electric blanket took the chill off on this late Devember visit. Breakfast was ample dumplings, gyoza and egg-noodle soup made to order plus coffee and warm soya milk. Communal areas included pool, a toddler friendly play area and board games. Outside an 18 m pool. Sadly, without heating neither were usable. The lobby and restaurant were also freezing - saving electricity but dining was uncomfortable. Although the room itself was warm and very nice, I expected more usable facilities for the price. Also as this was a no-cancellation booking I could not recoup the cost of the first night when I couldn't stay because of work. The staff were excellent tho' and really helpful advising me on the best route around the many zones of the Zangjiajie park. I also got a free lift back to the station on departure. Thanks for a great Christmas vacation!
