Avatar Hilltop Resort

The hotel was fantastic. Good amenities and staff. The hotel had a pool which, although not heated, was refreshing and had a scenic view of the foggy mountains. Great location near the start of the Forest Park (Forest Park is the avatar mountains attraction) as well. The highlight of our stay were all of the stupendous hotel staff. Nick was extremely helpful, personable, patient and humorous and we really appreciated his help over our three days stay. Thank you Avatar Hilltop hotel!

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights and everything is beyond expectations and the girl at the lobby and specifically Mike were very helpful and treated us well I am more than happy to recommend this place to anyone

Our experience at this hotel was 10/10!!! The room, the breakfast + the staff were all amazing. In particular we loved how kind and friendly Ceci was! She helped us with our itinerary before we even arrived at the hotel and then was so efficient with a full explanation including a super helpful paper map. She went above and beyond for us and was so friendly + eager to help! The hotel in general was beautiful and the views from all around are stunning. The breakfast was a mix of western and chinese which was perfect for us! Would 1000% recommend this hotel we were wishing we were staying for another 3 weeks when we left:( + bonus they have the cutest dog ever !!!!

Excellent small hotel situated a short walk from park entrance. Contemporary design, views over mountains, infinity pool, good restaurant, and excellent service. Kindly took us to station at end of trip. Thank you.

We had the best time here! The staff is incredible and really helps you in every turn. They draw a map for us for the park which helped us so much. On top of that, we had booked the tickets for an entry gate more far away but luckily could still cancel those and the hotel helped us buy new ones for the MIDDLE GATE which is located just 10min walk away. The pool is gorgeous (although unfortunately it was too chilly for us to actually use it) and the restaurant on site offers great breakfast and dinner. More Chinese options than Western, but that's what we love. We also got a lovely afternoon tea organized for us in the room. I hope to be back in the future!

It was amazing experience, very friendly and cozy atmosphere and everyone helped us get even more bright experience - would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Specially Nick helped us to make our stay very pleasant. He helped us plan our 3 days in The Zhangjiajie Forest en Grand Canyon. They also dropped us off at the middle gate of the park. The afternoon snacks with tea will be remembered. I can really recommend this hotel to everyone.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in China. It is walking distance to one of the entrances of the Zhangjiajie national park. Will helped us a lot with making a plan for the park and showing us the hotel. Rooms are clean and the pool is beautiful on the roof.
