This was our first time in Zhangjiajie and we wanted to visit both Zhangjiajie National Park and Tiamen mountain. The hotel is very close to Tiamen mountain Cable Car. It is about 40 minutes drive to Zhangjiajie National Park. The hotel is very beautiful and clean. It also has a pick up service from the High Speed Train Station which is helpful. We are foreigners and the staff's English was very limited, although they went out of their way to help and accommodate us. They helped us with location and plan how to get to certain places. We also got a complementary desert every night. We had very good wine although a bit expensive. It has a Western restaurant at the top of the hotel. The only negative thing was the bath's water filled up extremely slow and to take a bath it would take about 40 minutes to fill it up.

Outstanding service and value! Romantic, classy immaculate room with a balcony facing Tienman Mountain. Top quality toiletries. The hotel is a tranquil oasis, yet have easy access to the main attraction. Concierge patiently explained how to get to and around the Mountain, and arranged for free ride to the airport. Wide variety of food for breakfast buffet. I have been recommending this hotel to others already.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. 8 minutes away from the airport and within walking distance to the city centre and Tianmen cable wsy.
The staff were really nice. I even got a hug from one of the ladies when I came back for lunch after a few days. They have a nice rooftop area with drinks and western food for a reasonable price. I guess it’s the only western food option available in the downtown apart from Starbucks and Macdonald’s.
Very nice little balcony. The bathtub in the room has a step so it’s not very comfortable to take a bath.
Overall, very pleasant experience for a very reasonable price even during the national holiday.
