As others reviews said, the hostel has a great location and the host David is super friendly and really helpful with tips and ticket booking help. I booked the hostel specifically to make friends with whom I could visit the forest park with and I managed to have company for everyday of my stay. The only caveat is that bathroom and showers could be a little better maintained, but other than that no complaints!

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Wulingyuan. The location is excellent—just a short distance from the entrance to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with directions and local tips. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet after a long day of hiking. The common areas were cozy, and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it easy to meet other travelers. It offered great value for money, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Wulingyuan and would happily stay here again.

Really nice hostel, easy to meet people because the hostel offers a really nice home cooked dinner every evening. Nice coffees available for a good price. Host is really friendly and can get you discounts to activities. Super close to the park

Amazing hostel! Provides the essentials. But the main thing that stood out was the people. I made some lovely friends. And David the owner is very friendly and helpful! He went above and beyond, providing discounts and helping travellers plan their days and routes! The hostel is in an excellent location, very close to the national park entrance!

Perfectly located, just 5 minutes away to the entrance of the park and 10 minutes to the bus station. The hostel is really clean. They organize dinner every day to get to know other travellers.

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! The host is so unbelievably friendly and kind, and the dinner was so good and I got to meet many travellers staying there too! It is my first time travelling solo and I met amazing people here. The hostel is within walking distance from the forest park’s east gate. There are a few restaurants less than a minute’s walk nearby. The hostel itself is very clean with sheets you can change yourself, as well as having a night light and foldable table. Toilets are shared among the same gender, shampoo and body wash is provided. There’s even a rooftop space for you to hangout at. I highly recommend staying here if you’re a solo traveller as you’ll feel so welcome here! P.S. you can book tickets through the host as it is discounted as well!
