We had a fantastic stay at this hotel right in the heart of Zhangjiajie city! The location couldn't be better—just a minute's walk to a great bistro, a McDonald's, and some convenience stores. It’s also the perfect spot to soak up local life, with a bustling market nearby where you can see everyday Chinese culture in action.
Breakfast was an absolute highlight—you customise it the night before, choosing what you want to eat and what time you’d like it served. Such a thoughtful touch, especially if you’ve got an early start exploring the national park.
The whole place is decorated in a retro Chinese style—the owner is clearly a vintage enthusiast. The second floor is like a mini museum, filled with quirky collectibles like old vinyl record players and film projectors. We could have spent hours just browsing! The room itself was spotless, and we slept like logs—really comfortable beds.
The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us great tips on where to go. Also, don’t sleep on the pasta—it’s surprisingly good! Highly recommended for a unique and comfortable stay.
