Lanting Elegant Restaurant Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Sign Store)

The hotel experience was fantastic! Our room was spotless and offered lovely river and mountain views right from the street. It’s a short walk to the East Gate (landmark gate) of the scenic area, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. After dinner, a stroll along the river is very pleasant, and you can even catch the musical fountain show. Upon check-in, the front desk provided a guided tour map and explained the routes. Our plan for the second day was to enter from the South Gate and exit from the East Gate (mainly because we could leave our luggage at the hotel) before taking the high-speed train from Zhangjiajie. The hotel offers a luggage transfer service to the high-speed train station for 20 RMB per piece, which meant we could totally do East Gate in and South Gate out, giving us much more time.

This hotel is in a great location. It's easy to get a taxi, and it's close to the performance venue and the East Gate of the Forest Park. The front desk and all the hotel staff provided excellent service. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. There were also plenty of seating areas in the lobby. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay.

We stayed in a river and mountain view room on the fourth floor. The facilities were very new, and the view from the window was unbeatable. The front desk staff provided meticulous and thoughtful service, tailoring park entry plans for guests. The breakfast was quite rich, with both Chinese and Western options. It's very close to the East Gate of the National Forest Park; you just need to walk upstream along the river and cross a small bridge.

I loved the room type! The butler was incredibly patient and meticulously planned our itinerary. We stayed for three nights and they even provided fresh fruit, and the breakfast was excellent.
