I was absolutely, incredibly satisfied! I stayed for two nights, and the service was excellent. The ladies at the front desk were all so lovely. I arrived on New Year's Eve, and they told me where restaurants were still open, how to get there, and so on. Seriously, it was fantastic. My child even got to play with some print-making fans and had popcorn. The staff even helped wash, dry, and fold our clothes and brought them back – so convenient! Today I went to Tianmen Mountain and stayed at a Hampton Inn again, and they upgraded my room directly. So, so happy! The rime ice was also stunning. I forgot to take photos of the room though!

AAnonymous UserWe stayed 2 nights there. It’s beautiful resort theme different from the hotels. Our room is very spacious and clean overlooking the mountain. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a variety and it’s delicious. There are cat and dogs which makes the place cosy. They have free pick up and drop off from hotel, daily to Wulingyuan town about 10mins ride. Free laundry service. Hotel staff even helped to make a trip to collect a delivery from warehouse. Thumbs up for their service! Thank u so much in making our stay a memorable one!

LLyndsey99Our stay here was perfect, what an amazing place! The staff are exceptional, and really care about guest experience. They provide transport to and from the east gate of the national park, and will help you plan your day. The service was perfect even down to the small details, like putting mosquito repellent out on the table we liked to play cards at, and providing us with a printed photo of our favourite memory there to take away with us.
The room was great, the views were breathtaking. After a long day at the park, we really appreciated having a small swimming pool there for a dip. Food options were good - we enjoyed our dinners and the breakfast buffet. Orders can be placed in advance on WeChat when you are on your way back from a day at the park. There was a decent range of both soft and alcoholic drinks available.
What we loved the most is that they have struck the perfect balance between luxury and a kind of homely comfort. We felt so relaxed here. An added bonus for us was their friendly dogs and cat, as we were starting to miss our own dogs at home by this point of our trip.
The location was fantastic. It is close to the national park, but the views are so good that if you choose to relax at the hotel you won’t miss anything. If our room wasn’t booked for the following days, we would have extended our stay. One of our favourite places we have ever stayed, not just in China. Thank you to everyone at Celestial Vally for an excellent stay!

The room is quaint and elegant, offering undisturbed tranquility, where you can watch the clouds drift by and savor the peacefulness of the forest. The service is thoughtful and attentive, making for an incredibly pleasant stay that I won't soon forget.
The owner is wonderfully warm and attentive, treating guests like friends, and even thoughtfully arranged airport transfers, saving me from travel worries. Perched among green peaks and swirling mists, it offers both poetic natural beauty and human warmth. This trip was incredibly relaxing and comfortable. When I return to Zhangjiajie, I would absolutely love to stay here again. Opening the window reveals the stunning beauty of Wuling, while closing it brings serene peace to the room. The room is clean, elegant, and boasts an amazing view. To sleep embraced by mountains and wake up with the clouds truly lives up to its reputation as a fairyland. A perfect stay.

XXiaoyaxiaotangyuan、The hotel is very close to Tianmen Mountain cableway, just a few yuan by taxi, so the location is great if you're visiting Tianmen Mountain. There's a shopping mall downstairs. It's close to the road, so there can be a bit of traffic noise, which might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. I wasn't a big fan of the rice noodles at breakfast, but everything else was really good. I'd recommend staying here.

KKay_yyFirst of all, the location of the hotel is very strategic as it very near to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park of about 15 mins walking distance, and there are many food around the hotel too.
In addition, the amenities also very complete as there is lift at the lobby, TV in the room (we played music on TV every night), hair dryer etc. The pillow and mattress are very comfy, we had good sleep every night when we stayed there. The toilet is very clean and hygienic as well.
The hotel owners are super friendly and helpful! They shared their experience with us which is very useful and they did help us to get Mei Li Xiang Xi ticket at a discounted price. They mentioned that they could help to get Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Zhangjiajie Great Canyon tickets at discounted prices too but unfortunately we bought earlier before we reach there, so if you need the tickets, can just approach the hotel owners. They also share with us the best route for Zhangjaijie National Forest Park and it is very helpful for us!
Overall, we did have an enjoyable and pleasant stay at this hotel for the past three nights! Thanks to the kind hotel owners, if we have the chance to visit Zhangjiajie again, this hotel would be our first choice 😊

I was supposed to stay for two nights, however I extended my stay to 4 nights total! That’s how amazing this hotel is! 100/10 ✨
Special thanks to the amazing front desk staff TON! And everyone honestly were so welcoming and supportive! They make everything easy and smooth! Nothing was complicated at all! Although I had concerns regarding the language barrier, but they can speak very well English!
Tony and his colleagues are AMAZING! How the staff treat you is what matters the most to me personally. I recommend everyone to try this hotel!

GGuest UserThe BEST hotel. Staff were incredible - Di at reception is a local and a licensed tour guide so he helped us plan our entire trip once we arrived. He has a dictaphone to translate and large paper maps to draw on to make it easy to know what to do. He bought us all park, cable car, entertainment show tickets etc, at slightly lower prices than online too. Super friendly and incredible service as we found it a bit difficult to plan and know what to do in Zhangjiajie as there is just so much to see.
The hotel itself is clean and modern, with free laundry facilities and really nice decor. It’s right in the heart of Wulingyuan, which I would definitely recommend to stay in rather than Zhangjiajie town. Very short drive to the national park and a lot of restaurants in the town.
We have been travelling for three months and this was the best hotel we stayed in, staff were genuinely incredible.

I highly recommend booking your tickets directly through the hotel. She arranged my entrance ticket and an unlimited cable car pass at an affordable price, which also saved a lot of time. I didn’t have to wait in long lines—just a quick face scan and everything worked perfectly!
Whenever I had a question or small problem, she was always available on text with quick and helpful suggestions. The place itself is affordable, clean, and very comfortable.

The whole house smart provides an efficient and convenient environment, and the high-speed network allows me to handle work at any time. The high-end toilet and free drinks are the embodiment of quality life, and the sky garden has become my open-air office, with a broad view and abundant inspiration. Take a walk to the Wulingyuan Marking Gate to relax your mind and body during the work break, exercise at the well-equipped gym in the evening, and the three lovely cats are also good companions to relieve stress. This balance of being able to work efficiently and experience nature deeply allows me to travel and work at the same time.

GGuest UserHost is a super nice guy and very helpful. He helps you book your tickets as well as with communication and he has many good tips for you. Usually people hang downstairs, there are also three cute cats. Usually people order food and have dinner together. You will easily meet fellow travelers here. The place is otherwise very basic and could need repairs and more frequent cleanups. But that is not the focus here. The hostel is also close to the starting point to Tianmen mountain.
PS: The package for the avatar mountains has hiked to 450 RMB including cablecars and elevator (you can use the ticket on 4 consecutive days). 12 RMB to take the bus to its south gate. You need two days to finish the avatar mountains. Then one more day for Tianmen mountain. Another day for the canyon, if you want.
