Zhangjiakou Chongli District 5-star Hotels

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed skiing. The slopes are well prepared and easy to ski. We enjoyed CNY at the hotel and also the F&B Arrangement did meet our expectations - even though we are European. I would like to mention that the staff was very helpful - especially Hannah (Front office) and also both the F &B Manager and Housekeeping Manager made sure we were well looked after and all three spoke very good English. Thank you very much and we will visit again.

The environment of Taiwu is very good. The hotel has arranged a room with a view of the ski slopes. It is very good, the skiing environment is comfortable, and the hotel can bring dogs. There are induction cookers and microwave ovens, which are very user-friendly. It is very close to Xueruyi, you can visit it, it is very spectacular, and life in the small town is very convenient.

We enjoyed staying at Crowne plaza . Special mention to the Executive chef Scott Zhang who made sure we got our meals as how we wanted .The front office Paul Zhang and Joseph were really helpful. The restaurant staff are really spot on too. Breakfast was amazing ...a buffet with all sorts of food for the three days we stayed the food items were different. There's alacarte service for the rest of the day which is ok. Very clean rooms and despite the temperature dip the room was heated well. Enjoyed the skiing that's close to the hotel .Lots of activities to do.We couldn't ask for a better Christmas. Will definitely recommend people with families to enjoy the hot tubs on the 10th floor after a day of skiing you can relax at the Steam and Sauna . Great service and overall the Staff are well motivated.

Taiwu Hotel is cost-effective. The receptionist Dong Lu is very considerate and proactively introduces various discounts. Movie tickets, hot spring coupons, and 30% off coupons are all very good. I read Article 20, soaked in the hot springs, and enjoyed 30% off the purchase. I saved a lot of money on ski tickets and rental ski equipment. It was a very pleasant experience and I will come back again in the future.

Cuiyunshan Ski Resort is right next to the hotel. There are not many people skiing on weekdays. The intermediate trails are okay. The ski equipment hall is on the first floor. It is super convenient to slide in and out. The ski equipment is relatively new and the snowboards are not very old. very good! The one-day ticket (including ski equipment + cable car) is 399 yuan, which is not expensive. It costs 100 yuan to go up to the cable car alone (it cannot be repeated and can only go up once). There is a cafe and library on the top of the mountain that is worth visiting. The hotel service is very good, which is the biggest advantage. The reserved executive twin room was upgraded to an executive suite for free, with a better view, facing Cuiyun Mountain-Yinhe Ski Resort! Floor manager: Nan Yaping, who greets us cordially every day and meets our needs in a timely manner, such as replenishing capsule coffee at any time, repairing bedroom lights, providing disposable bathtub bath masks, etc. The room facilities are very complete, including a welcome fruit plate and welcome drink. A humidifier is provided, and toiletries are from Herborist. The sound insulation is good, it's very close to the elevator and it's not noisy at all. The balcony is large and has a wide view, but it's too cold (the highest temperature is -26 degrees) to stay outside. We came here for Christmas in mid-December, and Chongli was really cold! The catering is not bad, and the breakfast restaurant offers Hebei specialties: mutton soup, bacon flatbread, Hebei fried dough, salty porridge, etc., as well as Chinese delicacies such as tofu brain fried dough sticks. I am used to eating Western breakfast. Coffee, milk, whole wheat bread and omelets are also available (not many varieties), and there are not many vegetable salads and fruits. The Chinese breakfast is obviously more comprehensive. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant on the second floor was very good. The hot ramen, grilled bird skewers, and side dishes were all very good! However, I have also eaten at the Chinese restaurant on the 9th floor. It was average. The dishes, noodles and rice were too greasy. The transportation is convenient. The hotel is not far from the Jingli Expressway. The GPS is easy to find. Parking goes directly to the ba*****t. Hotel guests park for free for a few days. It is very good because there is no need to defrost due to snow. Overall, I am very satisfied. Compared with other ski hotels I have stayed in such as Wanlong, Fulong and Taiwu, it is indeed good. I will come back in the future.

I booked a four-night skiing package, which was very cost-effective. The double bed room with mountain view was not very big, but it had a sofa, which was just big enough for a 12-year-old child to sleep on. There are not many types of breakfast, and the changes are not big, but the quality is okay, and the haggis soup is delicious. The ski resort is very suitable for beginners, there are not too many people, the coaching fee is relatively high, and the level is not very good. There is a small indoor playground suitable for babies who cannot ski. Highly recommend Y north Western Restaurant, the scenery and food are very good. The only drawback was that the sanitation was not good enough. During my four-night stay, I only picked up the trash and did not clean the bathroom for two days. But let’s face it, overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday here! Looking forward to skiing in Chongli again next winter!

雖然酒店剛開不久，但是奧運會期間就服務於奧運了，隨意房間沒有任何的味道。酒店房間也非常大，衞生間也很大，温度比較合適，並不像之前住過的公寓那麼熱。早餐也很豐富，雖然住店客人不算多，依然精心的準備了。房間外的風景也不錯👍開電車的朋友們注意了，車庫非常暖和，18度，室外可是零下18度呢，不掉電太安心了！離太舞滑雪場5分鐘，雲頂10分鐘，真是太方便了！

Service, breakfast, are OK, I think it is worthy of this price. Disadvantages, the underground garage is used by residents, the parking lot on the ground is very small, but the road across the Mengtejiao hotel can also stop, that big does not need money, the charging station is also inside. There is also a little wooden raft of the service staff, the little girl in the hot spring is OK, very enthusiastic. It is recommended to stay and rest.

The sanitary and environmental facilities are good, in line with 4🌟. The location is excellent, opposite the museum and church. Turn right to the pedestrian street. There are many restaurants nearby. The price is not expensive and the price-performance ratio is extremely high. The front desk service was average. When I checked in, there was only one person at the front desk. His face was very smelly. He was busy on the computer and asked me to wait. Then a few people came to check out. She actually collected the room cards of those people first. , she only started to talk to me after telling the person checking out 🙂 Don’t you have a basic sense of first-come, first-served service? You can’t do this in front of me just because the check-out task is simple and quick, not to mention that I was standing there waiting for her to finish her work. She didn’t even want to explain to me 🙂 When she checked out, there were a few people at the front desk, and her face still looked bad 🙂 By the way, I just remembered when I uploaded the picture that there was a hair stuck on the lampshade of the bedside lamp.

Overall nice hotel. In winter rooms are extremely hot. I slept with the balcony door open each night. Breakfast is not the best. I would recommend getting breakfast somewhere else, although there are not many options nearby. We went skiing and it was great location for walking into town to eat and hangout in the evenings, and then go to the ski resorts during day!
