Genting Grand Hotel

Traveling with kids is so convenient here. Every time we come to Genting, we choose Genting Grand Hotel. The grandparents can go to the gym or steam room, and the kids can ski with easy ski-in/ski-out access. The rooms are spacious, and the family rooms even have separate bunk beds, which the kids love. Dining is also convenient; everything you need is right within the building.

This time I came to Chongli for a skiing trip, and booking this hotel was perfect! Since it previously hosted Olympic support, the hotel's overall service is excellent. Any issues were promptly handled by the front desks in both the North and South wings. Most importantly, staying here for skiing is incredibly convenient. I was so glad I booked this place for my trip to Genting Ski Resort. After a tiring night session, I could just take the elevator straight up to my room and rest. The hotel lobby also has direct access to the ski slopes, truly a heaven-sent for skiers! Overall, the value for money is also quite good, and compared to other hotels in this price range, the facilities are definitely top-notch! Excellent value for money. It's a suite, and you can tell a lot of care went into the decor and furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and surprisingly, it was a down comforter. The sofa was also very cozy. Was this place designed for the Winter Olympics, perhaps? It's truly unique; it's been a long time since I've stayed in such a comfortable hotel. Breakfast was decent. We visited on a weekday when it wasn't busy, and they extended our check-out to 4 PM, which was fantastic!

Connection to Taizicheng High-Speed Rail Station: Super convenient! As soon as we exited the station, we clearly saw someone holding a sign for pick-up. There were plenty of cars, but also a lot of people. The hotel itself was quite clean, and very close to the ski resort. Our room had a view of the beginner slopes, and we could get to the ski resort from our room in less than 5 minutes!! Facilities: This was my first stay, and it felt quite new. The facilities were good, and there was a washing machine, which was very convenient. Service: Staff would confirm details in advance, and even provided a fruit platter, which was a nice touch.

This is a newly opened ski hotel with comprehensive ski services. It's not too crowded either. You can ski right out the door, but you have to ski a bit to reach the Zone 22 lift station, which might not be ideal for beginner skiers.

This was my first stay in the South Wing, and overall, it was very comfortable! The service was excellent too! There's an underground parking lot, and the one-bedroom suite is quite spacious. For breakfast, you can choose between Genting Nanhuzui or the South Wing's Yunxi, both are really good! The only minor drawback was that during my stay, they were clearing snow in front of the South Wing ski hall entrance. I had to carry my snowboard and trek uphill just to get in and out of the hotel's ski hall. Luckily, by the next morning, they had cleared a downhill path that was skiable.
