Guanjing Hotel (Gulei New Port City)

The front desk service was absolutely terrible (on the afternoon of the 17th). It's a huge mismatch for a branded hotel, and I have no idea how they managed to get such good ratings. Do they not have any standards for hiring and training staff at this hotel?

The room facilities were new, and the breakfast and service were good. However, there was something on the bed sheets that caused allergic reactions on the exposed skin of both children and adults. Also, there was constant noise of firecrackers outside the hotel at night, and it was very noisy in the morning; the soundproofing was extremely poor.

The hotel facilities were excellent, clean, and the staff were attentive and responsible. Special praise goes to Ms. Lu at the front desk; she was warm, friendly, and promptly helped resolve any issues. Of the two hotels I stayed at in Zhangzhou, Guanjing was the best experience. Food delivery was also very convenient.

I've stayed at Guanjing Hotel multiple times during business trips, and personally, I think it's the most comfortable hotel in the area. The receptionist is gentle and beautiful, and the service is warm, efficient, and the check-in process is swift and straightforward. The rooms are clean, tidy, and odor-free, featuring a smart toilet and smart curtains, a separate shower and toilet, and plenty of reliable hot water. The bedding is soft and comfortable against the skin—a top choice for business trips! Free parking is available, with ample spaces, making it very convenient to drive there. The breakfast selection is extensive, including many local specialties; the honey bread rolls brought back so many childhood memories. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations. The facilities are comprehensive, the service is warm, and the price is excellent. It's perfect for both business and leisure travel, and I'll definitely choose Guanjing again next time!

1. The hotel is four stories high and located next to a highway, so there is a lot of traffic noise. 2. The hotel room is very small, and there was a musty smell as soon as you entered; it took some time to ventilate. 3. The breakfast was so-so, although there was some hot soup. 4. For a hotel in Zhangpu, this is already an excellent choice. The aesthetics are great, the facilities are comprehensive, and safety is paramount. You need a card to enter the elevator, and even takeout is delivered by robots. The toilet and shower are separate.
