Annanshe B&B (Zhangzhou Ancient City)

Location: Inside the South Gate of the ancient city, making it super convenient for exploring. You have to park outside the city walls, and you need to find a parking spot yourself, but they reimburse parking fees, and the lot isn't far from the hotel. Cleanliness: The room was spotless; my parents raved about it. The bedding was very comfortable, especially the pillows—they weren't those flimsy, soft types. Service: The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. Since it's a walk-up, they helped us with our luggage. Facilities: The projector's streaming apps came with built-in memberships.

The location is unbeatable! The parking lot is less than 200 meters from the hotel, which is super convenient. Cars can't enter the old town, so we parked in the South Gate parking lot, and the hotel reimbursed the parking fee. For this price, the room was excellent. It was spacious and very clean. A truly worthwhile stay! I forgot to take a picture of the 'four fruit soup'.

Location: Not far from the entrance of the ancient city and very close to the Confucius Temple. It's conveniently located, and the surroundings are pleasant – a real tranquil spot amidst the bustle. Service: The staff (guys) provided excellent service, from helping with luggage to giving detailed and enthusiastic advice on travel routes. Cleanliness: Generally good. It comes with a smart toilet, a bathtub, and the pillows are genuinely comfortable.

Overall, it's great value for money. The location is right in the old town, so it was super convenient to head out for a stroll right after checking in, even late at night. Parking at a nearby public lot was also reimbursed. The room was quite spacious with a lovely fresh, rustic decor, which I really liked. The bathroom even had a bathtub, though I didn't get to use it. Waking up to the old town streets bathed in sunlight was just wonderful!

The hotel has a great atmosphere, with a well-designed room layout and excellent amenities. The hairdryer was particularly good, and I slept very comfortably. There are lots of snacks in the ancient city, and the weather is pleasant this season. This is a genuine experience, not an automated review – the service attitude was fantastic! The young man at the front desk, who I think might be the manager, was very handsome. I wonder if he has a girlfriend.

Exceeded expectations once again! My friend came to visit the ancient city this time, and we still chose this place 🏠. The service and cleanliness were impeccable. They even proactively helped us with our luggage to the room. This time, they also offered a Hanfu experience, which fit well and made for great photos! Compared to our last stay, this time we got a room with a traditional Chinese aesthetic. The high ceilings and spaciousness were fantastic, making it a very comfortable stay for two.

Walked in and the place seemed pretty clean! But then I noticed the cleanliness under the bed was a disaster – hairballs flying out from underneath! I don't understand, isn't the bed base supposed to be sealed? Why wasn't it mopped? Those hairballs must have been collecting for ages to get that big! The location is great though, right by Zhangzhou Ancient City, and they'll reimburse parking fees! However, you have to find your own parking lot and spot, which is quite difficult and really put a damper on things. They also didn't add the bed rail I requested, but the service itself was good!

This hotel is perfectly located not far from the south gate entrance of Zhangzhou Old Town. Shops in the old town gradually open after 9:30 AM. The hotel is also conveniently close to the Confucius Temple, making it easy to explore all the attractions and snack spots within the old town. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking so you can take your time and wander around. There's a good variety of room types to choose from, and the rooms themselves are quite spacious. The staff proactively helped us with our luggage to our room door and even provided a welcome snack. If you're visiting the old town, this is a great place to stay!
