Atour Hotel Zhanjiang Chikan Jinshawan Guanhai Promenade

I arrived at the hotel around 8 PM. It's located down a narrow alleyway, so if you're not a confident driver, be careful. The parking spaces are tiny and cramped! Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, no dawdling. After taking the elevator up, the hallway wasn't air-conditioned and was quite hot. I was just thinking about getting to my room to cool off. But once I got to the room, it was a disaster! It was incredibly hot, even hotter than the hallway! The air conditioning wasn't on, and the windows were open, making the room a sweltering 30 degrees Celsius! Couldn't they have turned on the AC beforehand? Don't other hotels usually have the room AC running? To be fair, once the AC was on, it was powerful enough, and the temperature dropped within about half an hour! The room has a large TV with screen mirroring capabilities, which is a nice touch. It also displays the real-time status of the washer and dryer, which is very convenient for guests who need to do laundry. The bathroom sink also has a small desktop trash can, which is thoughtful and handy! The bedding is quite comfortable, especially the pillows! Food delivery is super convenient, with a robot delivering it quickly!

The room was clean and odor-free, and the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast was abundant. It's my top choice for business trips.

The hotel lobby is spacious and clean, and the front desk staff are friendly and polite with warm and thoughtful service. The room is spotless. The beach is right across the street, making it convenient for getting around. It was a very worthwhile stay.

This was my first time staying at an Atour Hotel in Zhanjiang. I was quite frustrated because I had messed up my booking dates. However, the front desk staff were incredibly dedicated, professional, and friendly, and they quickly resolved the issue for me. I'm very grateful to her! As for the room, I can't really compliment it – it was too small! This is a bit of a departure from the Atour hotels I've stayed in in other cities. More specifically, the restaurant staff had absolutely no sense of service; the female server had a terrible attitude. I later wondered if the restaurant might be outsourced. It really diminishes Atour's image! My wife said she wouldn't want to stay at a hotel like this again; it made her angry!

The room offered direct sea views right outside the window, and across the street downstairs was Jinshawan Beach. The room was comfortable, clean, and tidy, and the bedding was cozy. Atour Hotel, as always, did not disappoint.

The service was enthusiastic, the room was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. It was also very quiet. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time. It's close to Jinshawan, which has beautiful surroundings, and the transportation is convenient.
