Donglin Hotel

Loved the spacious room! The front desk staff, especially the lady, was super friendly and helpful. I called ahead to ask if there was a fridge because I'd bought some meatballs and other items, and she said they could store them in the back kitchen's fridge. That's fantastic!

The room was spacious and clean. The location was convenient, and parking was easy. There was a dim sum market nearby, which was very convenient. It was also not far to Qixing Lake and the ancient city wall. The staff were warm, polite, and helpful.

Traveling to Zhaoqing. The double room was a bit small and a bit pricey (290 yuan for two nights). There was some lint on the table. The hairdryer was a bit small, taking a long time to dry hair. The carpet was a bit dirty, and I didn't bother using the TV because I didn't quite understand it. The bathroom sink faucet was rather short, and the countertop was quite wide, making washing my face inconvenient. There was a glass partition between the room and the shower room, allowing a general view from both sides, but it wasn't transparent. Otherwise, everything was fine. The hotel is quite close to the city center and Seven Star Crags. A word of caution! This hotel only does housekeeping periodically. If you want housekeeping on demand, you need to inform the front desk or put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door! Previously, hotels and guesthouses only did housekeeping on demand, so it was really scary when we returned to our room to find someone had been there...
