Zhongzhou International Hotel (Henan Museum Zhenghong City)

The hotel's location is excellent, right across the street from the Henan Museum. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options.

Booked a visit to the Henan Museum and chose Zhongzhou International. The location is superb, just downstairs, cross the zebra crossing, and you're at the Henan Museum! 👍 The room is well-equipped, especially the disposable toothbrush which was really good, and the shower had great water pressure 👍 The bed was large and comfortable, and the bedding was clean. There was a good variety for breakfast, and the signature spicy soup (Hu La Tang) tasted great. The restaurant staff were always clearing tables and spoke very pleasantly, thumbs up! 👍

I was a bit hesitant after seeing a few recent negative reviews before booking. Compared to the positive ones, they were really few and far between. However, I decided to book anyway, mainly because of its convenient location for visiting the Henan Museum. After staying one night, I felt that everything was quite good. In particular, the staff were very polite and helpful. The front desk receptionist (didn't catch her name) was especially attentive, answering all my questions enthusiastically. The hotel is close to Metro Line 7, and the room facilities are well-maintained, especially the shiny faucets at the sink. There was plenty of hot and cold water for showering. The breakfast was also quite varied; I tried Hulatang (spicy soup) for the first time and it was pretty good.

They upgraded my room for free, and it was spacious with clean, odorless bedding. The breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel is right across from the Hebei Museum, which is super convenient – perfect for museum-goers. The front desk even gave me a free late check-out when they found out my flight was in the evening, so I could go back and rest a bit after my visit. Thumbs up! 👍🏿
