Zhenjiang Marriott Hotel

Came to Zhenjiang to watch Super League, and my room was on a high floor with a view of the stadium! The view was great, and if you want to see the river, you can go to the lobby! Overall, it was pretty good. The pool was very clean; it was crowded because it was the weekend, but everyone was well-behaved! Breakfast was also decent, up to standard but not amazing!

The higher floor offered a good view, but the windows were quite dirty, which might be difficult to maintain. We drove there, and both the hotel entrance and the underground parking entrance were constantly blocked by many cars parked there without any clear direction, which was very frustrating. There was even a large truck right at the parking entrance with no driver around, completely blocking the way.

We were upgraded to a room on the 76th floor, which was a very pleasant surprise, thank you! The staff were all very enthusiastic and friendly. Our room offered a panoramic view of Zhenjiang, with the Yangtze River stretching out before our eyes. The breakfast the next day was also very rich and delicious.

This hotel seems to have recently rebranded to Marriott. When I arrived on April 30th, the old sign was gone, and there was no notice at the entrance nor any staff to inform guests about the change. This made it very unfriendly for first-time visitors. The hotel facilities are pretty standard. However, during this rebranding period, the hotel was severely understaffed. Only two out of three check-in counters were open, and they were busy assisting departing business guests with tasks like cash payments and invoices. The third counter was completely unattended. I waited over 10 minutes to check in, and no staff member came to help or direct guests. What was truly intolerable was the management oversight due to this understaffing: despite being a non-smoking hotel, guests were smoking on the guestroom floor, and the smell wafted into my room, rendering the non-smoking policy useless. There were 3-4 cigarette butts in the trash can, which wasn't even a fire-safe ash bin and still had a plastic liner inside. What if it caught fire in a 70+ story building? How would anyone escape? Ironically, there was even a fire drill during my stay. Even though it's in a transitional phase, the management, service, and facilities don't meet Marriott's standards. It was a very disappointing stay.

Zhenjiang is truly a hidden gem of a city for tourism, with historical and cultural stories everywhere. I used a consecutive stay package, checking in a day early, which offered great value for money. It's conveniently located for visiting Beigu Mountain, Jinshan, Jiaoshan, and Zhenjiang Station.

Excellent! The bread pudding for breakfast was delicious, and the view was also quite good. Customer service was very responsive; on the first day, our room was cleaned in the time it took us to have breakfast.

This hotel boasts an excellent location right at the intersection of Zhongshan East Road and Jiefang Road, adjacent to Suning Shopping Plaza, making it perfect for dining and shopping. It's situated in Zhenjiang's tallest building, with the lobby on the 57th floor and some guest rooms as high as the 70s. From both the lobby and the rooms, you can enjoy stunning views of the Yangtze River and the San Shan Yi Du scenic area. Getting to Zhenjiang Station by taxi takes about ten minutes, and the San Shan Yi Du area is only a few kilometers away. There are also plenty of bus routes nearby, making it convenient to reach attractions by taxi or bus. However, be aware that Zhongshan East Road and Jiefang Road are currently undergoing road construction, which has reduced some lanes. The hotel's decor is sophisticated and grand, with high ceilings that create a spacious, non-cramped feel. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and very engaging. The guest rooms are very large and well-equipped. Even with an extra bed, it didn't feel crowded. The bathroom is exceptionally spacious, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, which is a standout feature compared to many other hotels I've stayed in. The hotel's breakfast restaurant is also on the 57th floor, offering a wide variety of dishes. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the view outside the window was a fantastic experience. I booked an Executive King Room, which also included a simple buffet dinner with fried rice, several hot dishes, a vegetable salad, small cakes, and drinks – offering great value for money. Overall, this is a very good hotel and highly recommended.

Everything was great! The room was spacious, clean, and the service was excellent. From the room, you could see the river in the distance, and the river view was really beautiful. The only downside was that the TV couldn't play movies.

The Zhenjiang Suning Galaxy International Hotel boasts an excellent location right in the city center's commercial district, making travel incredibly convenient. The high-altitude views are expansive, the rooms are clean and comfortable, facilities are comprehensive, and the service is attentive. The breakfast is abundant, and the overall experience is fantastic, offering great value for money. Highly recommended!
