Peace International Hotel

The hotel is showing its age, and the carpets have a faint smell. However, the service and location are great. The entrance area isn't very spacious.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was wonderfully quiet, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. Its location near the Wushui River was perfect. In the evening, we enjoyed a delightful walk by the Three Bridges, where we sampled some Zhijiang Duck and took in the beautiful night scenery.

The hotel was spotlessly clean with quiet surroundings. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast spread was excellent and plentiful. It's conveniently located very close to attractions such as the Wind-Rain Bridge and the pedestrian street. It's arguably the best and tallest hotel in a prime central location, offering excellent value for money.

The room was quite spacious, which I was very pleased with. The surroundings were also quite peaceful, and it was incredibly close to Fenghu Bridge, about a 10-minute walk. Fenghu Bridge was absolutely stunning! The hotel's cleanliness was also good. The only minor drawback was the shower water pressure; it was so weak it felt like a mere drizzle. I hope the hotel can address this. However, I really appreciated the staff member who made multiple trips to help with the room's air conditioning.

This was my second visit to Zhijiang. Instead of the river-view hotel I stayed at last time, I opted for this 4-star hotel, and it was even cheaper. I assume this is because the other hotel is now featured in the city's light show. I arrived a little after 3 PM, and to my surprise, the underground parking garage was completely full. It was understandable, as there was a wedding banquet happening that afternoon. The security guard directed me to park in the alley behind the hotel. Later, maneuvering out of the alley and then backing into the underground garage was quite a challenge, but thankfully, the security guard was very diligently directing me the whole time. The hotel is very close to the river. If you step out, turn right, then right again, you'll find a delicious 'Ga Xiaohuang' restaurant. Zhijiang Third Bridge is just across the road. The disposable toothbrush provided felt really nice to use.

This is the best hotel in Zhijiang. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable, offering views of the Wind and Rain Bridge at night. Right downstairs, you'll find plenty of local snacks and specialty duck dishes. The cooked dishes are also incredibly fresh. Plus, the free parking is a great convenience.

Transfer Service (Airport/Train Station): The hotel offers transfer services which just need to be booked in advance. My original transport was unexpectedly cancelled, causing me to miss it. However, I called the hotel, and they immediately sent someone to pick us up, which was incredibly helpful. Self-service Welcome Refreshments: The self-service welcome refreshments were a nice touch; the iced jasmine tea was particularly delicious. Service: The service was great, and the front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The underground parking was very convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming; they even sent up yogurt in the evening. The hotel's location is also great, not far from the Diaojiaolou (stilt houses) and Fengyu Bridge. The breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic! Definitely a five-star review! I forgot to take photos of the room, only managed to snap a few of the front desk. 1. Although the hotel isn't brand new, it's impeccably clean; even the carpets were spotless. All essential facilities were well-maintained and readily available. 2. The service was absolutely exceptional. The lady at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, offering excellent recommendations when we asked about local eateries. The cleaning staff were also very warm and proactively asked if we needed anything. We had a minor issue with the toilet in our room, but a quick call had a staff member fixing it right away. In the evening, when we requested mineral water, they delivered two bottles for free and even included complimentary yogurt. 3. The hotel also provided a shuttle service to and from the station. The driver was very polite, sent me a text message in advance, and even called me when my high-speed train arrived. The vehicle itself was also very clean. Most hotels typically only offer pick-up service, so finding one that also provides drop-off was a truly pleasant surprise! 4. I had previously seen online reviews praising their breakfast duck noodle soup, so we didn't hesitate to book breakfast for two. It turned out to be a fantastic surprise! My companions and I all agreed that the breakfast duck noodle soup was even tastier than the goose noodle soup we specifically sought out at another restaurant – it was genuinely good! 5. The location was also quite convenient. While it's not the closest option to Fengyu Bridge, it offers a quiet spot away from the crowds. It was within a 10-minute walk to Shen Congwen's Former Residence and also about 10 minutes to Ga Xiaohuang, which made it quite convenient. Overall, it offers incredibly high value for money! This is a highly recommended hotel!
