Mattel Play Hotel

No matter your age, everyone can dream with a childlike heart at the Mattel Hotel and World of Magic! As a Barbie photographer, I've been eagerly following the opening of the World of Magic in Mid-Levels since April 2025. After a long and anxious wait, it finally officially opened, so I quickly arranged a vacation there. My friend and I, both adults, stayed in the Barbie Suite. The room was spacious, with no cramped feeling at all. The design utilized multiple doors to partition the space and included two bathrooms, making it very comfortable and convenient – a perfect choice for a girls' getaway! The Barbie Afternoon Tea at the Barbie Restaurant came in a pink jewelry box, which was both beautiful and delicious. It's the best and most favorite afternoon tea I've ever had, hands down! From the Barbie-themed area opposite the front desk, the corridors of the Barbie floor, and the Barbie Restaurant and Barbie Suite, to the Barbie Sweet House next to the hotel, every corner is filled with a Barbie pink atmosphere. It's a must-visit for any Barbie enthusiast! Many thanks to Ms. Deng Qiumin at the front desk for introducing us to the surrounding dining options and promptly assisting with miscellaneous matters on our check-in day. Also, a big thank you to Ms. Chen Yiwen for her thoughtful answers regarding the room facilities! We are immensely grateful to the enthusiastic and lively Ms. Liu Miaomiao for her incredibly kind and patient guidance in showing us other types and themed rooms, providing detailed and comprehensive explanations. On our check-out day, she even gifted us printed photos and Barbie Sweet House glass cups, which not only gave us a deeper understanding and exploration of the entire hotel but also left us with precious memories to cherish! Many thanks to Ms. Liu Xiaolan from the Barbie Restaurant for her attentive and thoughtful service, and also to the restaurant manager who arranged our Barbie Afternoon Tea reservation, as well as the lady who followed up and helped us select our drinks! The World of Magic theme park is a great place to relax. The biggest advantage of an indoor park is that it allows you to escape the heat and freely immerse yourself in a childlike world. We mainly explored the Mattel PlayTown. The Barbie Land was filled with Barbie pink everywhere, perfect for playing and posing. However, some decorative details seemed a bit sparse (e.g., on the shelves in the Paw Patrol Clinic). We suggest adding more props to enhance the playability. The few children we encountered in the Thomas & Friends zone were having so much fun they were too tired to walk, which clearly demonstrates the park's versatility. We also went to Zhongshan Passenger Port and took the World of Magic cruise (via the 'Zhonggang Passenger Transport' mini-program – Coastal Sightseeing Line). The journey lasted about 100 minutes. The cabin was spacious and the ride was smooth, definitely worth experiencing. In a September filled with Barbie pink, my friend and I enjoyed a precious annual getaway. The Mattel Hotel and Barbie Land have become a deeply cherished part of our memories related to our Guangdong vacation.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the Thomas and Barbie themes were fantastic! There were also plenty of places to play downstairs and it was very convenient for food. Highly recommended! Next time, we'll try the Hot Wheels theme. Looking forward to our next visit. Miao Miao's service was very attentive and excellent.

The place is new and very clean. I booked the HOT WHEELS ROOM!!! to celebrate my son's birthday. My son was thrilled as soon as he entered the room. Because I informed the hotel in advance, they prepared a simple birthday setup. The room rate included breakfast and tickets to the indoor theme park, with re-entry permitted for two days. Note that the park's operating hours are 10 am-6 pm. The hotel offered a free late check-out until 1 pm. There's also free parking, and the parking lot has charging stations; I used the slow charger.

An absolutely terrible experience. I booked the Barbie family suite, and as soon as we checked in, I noticed that the kids' bedsheet showed signs of having been slept in. I was furious! For a 2400-a-night room, I'm speechless, practically in tears. The hotel explained it was due to the fitted sheet, not an actually slept-in sheet. This made me incredibly angry. Traveling with a 3-year-old, encountering something like this just ruined our mood. Family hotels should prioritize hygiene above all else. Regardless of the reason, something like this should never happen.

Five-star rating, my stay was incredibly satisfying! All the hotel staff were extremely polite, thoughtful, and attentive, with every arrangement well-considered. A special shout-out to Ivy and Wendy at the front desk for their super personalized service. The hotel's overall quality is outstanding. The room was a genuine IP-themed room, and every detail was meticulously handled, which was a pleasant surprise. The overall experience was excellent, and I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is very new and clean. The room design is full of childlike wonder, and the kids had a blast. The hotel also included three theme park tickets, and there's a direct elevator to the park, so you don't even need to go outside. Although the park isn't huge, we still had a lot of fun.

Facilities: Comprehensive Hygiene: Clean Environment: Tidy, newly renovated with vibrant colors, offering an immersive experience for kids. Service: The staff are warm and polite.

The hotel is beautiful and the amusement park is great fun! Staff member Miaomiao was very polite and provided excellent service. The only downsides are that the restaurant is too small and the breakfast selection is limited.

- Very pink, kids loved it! - Seems like a newly opened hotel, as everything feels new and there aren't many food options nearby. - The three playhouses are fantastic, and they're all in the same building as the hotel!
