Sheraton Zhongshan Hotel

Before booking, I was hesitant, thinking this Sheraton might be a bit too old. But my friend said its location was good, so I decided to go with it anyway. During the May Day holiday, there were a lot of guests, and checking in took ages, but the staff's attitude in every aspect was excellent. It might be because there were so many guests, but housekeeping overlooked some things – there was leftover rice from the previous guest in the fridge. Sheraton breakfasts are always great, and they really stand out in the Guangdong region. The only drawback is that the hotel is genuinely too old. The facilities are subpar in every way, causing some inconvenience during the stay. The air conditioning sounded like a tractor every time it turned on at night, controlling the room lighting was very inconvenient, and the shower drain was extremely slow, leading to water pooling above my ankles, and so on.

After receiving my previous feedback, the hotel promptly contacted me to address each issue I had raised with patience and meticulous care, offering sincere apologies. As a consumer, I fully understand the challenges in the service industry; unforeseen circumstances and minor oversights are inevitable in daily operations. What matters more to me than the problems themselves is the hotel's attitude in facing them, their sincerity in resolving them, and their commitment to future improvements. The professional, responsible, and efficient way the hotel staff handled the situation truly demonstrated the service standards expected of the Sheraton brand and their dedication and respect for every guest. This proactive follow-up and customer service are truly commendable. The Sheraton Zhongshan offers expansive river views that are truly refreshing. Its excellent location also ensures convenient travel and access to comprehensive surrounding amenities. This positive communication experience has given me a new understanding and confidence in the hotel's service team. Whether I'm in Zhongshan for business or a family vacation, I will continue to prioritize staying at this Sheraton hotel. I sincerely hope the hotel continues to refine and improve details in guest rooms, facility maintenance, and amenities, striving to provide an even more complete and comfortable stay for every guest. This way, their excellent hardware can truly match their outstanding software, making them a benchmark in the Zhongshan hotel industry.

The hotel's surroundings are fantastic, with a pedestrian street and Qijiang Park nearby, perfect for a weekend staycation. The breakfast spread is also excellent. Although the room shows its age a bit and the carpet was a little dirty, the view from the window was lovely. A special thanks to Lynn, the wonderful manager in the lobby! She proactively approached my family and me to ask about our stay, and after hearing our plans, she kindly extended our checkout time to 2 PM and stored our luggage for us. This allowed us to come back from the museum and relax for a bit before leaving. Such a thoughtful gesture!

The room was very spacious and clean. Ms. Abby at the front desk was lovely, with a wonderful service attitude and a sweet smile. She even upgraded me to a river view room!

Traveling with a child, they even arranged a teddy bear for my little one, which made them incredibly happy. The hotel has an amazing view, overlooking the river and a park. It's very clean, and super convenient to go downstairs for a stroll or a run. It's also really close to the pedestrian street, just a ten-minute walk. On a side note, it's even cheaper than Atour. Highly recommend, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Opted for the Sheraton in Zhongshan, and it was a great choice. The hotel's location is perfect, right by the Qijiang River, and Sunwen West Road is just a short walk away. My kids absolutely loved the Octonauts-themed room and had a blast!

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. There's no musty smell, the room is clean, and the river view opposite is lovely. The hotel's location is also super convenient for getting around. Very good!

Fantastic stay! The service and ambiance were excellent. Our room had a wonderful, expansive view. The gym was well-equipped and very clean. I'll definitely be back!
