Reviews of Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort

The resort lobby was huge.Staff were attentive.Rooms spacious with high ceiling.Hot Spring tubs surrounds the long swimming pool.Free food and hot or cold drinks.The sauna and steam room was near the shower and changing room.You can find Western and Chinese food in the resort.Dont forget to enjoy the relaxing body massage.

Last time I stayed in a newly renovated room above the lobby, and it was great. This time, I stayed in the business park area and it felt pretty average, a bit old-fashioned, but the price was good. The hot springs are still nice. Next time, I'll definitely choose a room above the lobby again.

The rooms in the Central Garden are newer and more spacious. The Lakeside Garden rooms are older, but very clean and are currently being renovated. The service is excellent. The hot spring area has a beautiful environment, with widely spaced pools and a huge swimming pool. The water quality is clean, making for a very comfortable swim. The relaxation area is comfortable, and the light meals are thoughtful, hygienic, and tasty. The towels in the rooms are of good cotton quality, but the towels in the hot spring area are a bit inferior and not very absorbent. Breakfast is rich and delicious. You can exchange your hot spring wristband before checking out and continue using the hot springs until 6 PM after check-out. This hotel policy is excellent.

The room was simple but very clean. The pool was too crowded, with not enough space for people to put their belongings and relax. The walkways were piled high with towels.

The service was excellent; all my questions were answered promptly. The front desk staff was very professional, and the gardeners and housekeepers were always friendly and smiling.

Overall, the hotel was great. When it's not busy on weekdays, the hot springs and sauna are incredibly relaxing. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations, so breakfast is served by Swan Lake, which offers a lovely setting. However, the breakfast selection is much smaller than before, and I hope they can improve it.

The environment here is excellent, truly living up to its reputation as a place that has hosted national leaders. To the north, you have Luosanmei Mountain, where the chief architect of reform and opening-up famously declared 'no turning back,' and to the south, the centuries-old village of Yongmo. The room even included a complimentary fruit platter and free beverages. Since Zhongshan Hot Spring Hotel is quite expansive, you can call to arrange a golf cart for transport, which is a very thoughtful touch.

The room has tatami mats and is clean and tidy. The hot spring is right downstairs, which is very convenient. Breakfast is served in the new building and tastes good. The outdoor environment is lovely, with exquisite garden design, and there are even black swans with their babies, making it perfect for children.

This was my first stay at Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort. The room felt a bit dated, but it was clean. The hot spring facilities were good, and since it was a weekday, there weren't too many guests. The hot spring pools included high-temperature water, which was very relaxing after a soak. They even thoughtfully provided ginger tea by the pools.

The outdoor facilities were nice, but the room had a strong, unpleasant smell. I felt like something was biting me in bed, not sure if it was bugs or mosquitoes. The hot spring pools had a lot of branches in them. Overall, it wasn't a good experience. 😔

My stay at Zhongshan Hot Spring Hotel was lovely. The environment is great, and my room had a private courtyard with a pool, which was super convenient as it was also close to the restaurant and hot spring area. The only minor issue is that the room facilities are a bit dated. On the other hand, the breakfast was excellent! Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

A great stay at the Zhongshan Hot Springs Resort. The breakfast was excellent and even included western food like bacon and eggs and French toast. Coffee machine made perfect espresso every time. The business rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot springs were easily accessible and not too crowded during the weekday we stayed. The gym had free weights, but was hard to find and most of the machines were broken or couldn’t power up (no elliptical or bikes, but the treadmill worked). Staff was very polite and responsive. Some were able to communicate clearly in English, although Chinese is clearly the preferred language.
