Thanks to Trip.com for providing a platform for genuine reviews. This was by far the strangest hotel experience I've ever had. I'll list the problems truthfully, all backed by photos.
We booked a 'chess and card room' type, but the mahjong table was missing tiles. Our group spent half an hour counting and finding the missing pieces ourselves. After contacting the hotel, they approached us with a complaining attitude rather than actively trying to solve the problem. I believe that providing fully functional facilities is a basic responsibility of the operator, not something guests should have to act as quality inspectors for (the tiles were also incredibly sticky and grimy).
We booked for four people, but the room only came with two towels – clearly not enough for normal living habits.
Similarly, there were no toothbrushes provided in the room.
The refrigerator in the room was broken. I tried adjusting the settings, but the internal temperature was no different from the room temperature, and there were no indicator lights showing it was working. It's safe to say it was faulty.
