The service was exceptionally good. One day I forgot to extend my stay, and they called me around 5 PM to ask about it. The receptionist was very gentle and sweet. She saw I had cold medicine in my hand and thoughtfully gave me a mask.

The location is fantastic, right by the Universal City shopping mall. It's literally a 20-second walk from the hotel's main entrance to Gate 6 of Universal City. It's also very close to several other landmark shopping areas. The hotel has outdoor parking, and the indoor pool area boasts two kids' pools, a 25-meter heated pool, and a warm-water pool. What's really great is that the indoor pool area is heated in winter, so it's not cold when you get out of the water. The gym next door isn't huge. The room itself has a cool, linear design, and the lighting control is quite good. The bathroom has a very characteristic Marriott feel to it; you can always count on Marriott brands for quality.

The food at the executive lounge was terrible. We arrived at 1:30 PM for check-in and had to wait until almost 3:00 PM for our room to be cleaned. The executive room, supposedly 42 square meters, was actually tiny, on par with a budget hotel. For such a large hotel, it's unbelievable that we had to queue for breakfast at just past 9 AM, waiting over 20 minutes, only to find nothing left when we finally got a table. One would think we were lining up for a Michelin-starred or Black Pearl restaurant! The hotel offered no explanation whatsoever. This kind of service is truly tarnishing the Marriott brand.

The room service and cleaning staff were excellent. Plus, the room offered direct views of Macau's iconic landmarks.
