Zhuhai Hotel Guide

Zhuhai, the city of 100 islands, is located on the west bank of the Pearl River estuary. With original and intriguing urban planning and constructions, the city has a modern, beachfront garden atmosphere. Visitors who come to Zhuhai are impressed by how peaceful it is. Zhuhai is home to many offshore islands, each of which is surrounded by refreshing blue seas and fragrant breeze.

Zhuhai's attractions are mainly distributed in the areas of Xiangzhou, Doumen, and Jinwan Districts. Among them, Xiangzhou District is the administrative and commercial center of Zhuhai and location of Gongbei Port, which connects the mainland and Macau. Zhuhai Sandie Spring, Dreams Water City, Zhuhai Fishing Girl, New Yuan Ming Palace, Agricultural Spectacle, Zhuhai Golf Club, and other attractions are all located in Xiangzhou District as well. Couples’ Road, a walking path popular with couples, spans the coastline in Xiangzhou District too.

The main attractions in Doumen District include the Imperial Hot Spring Resort, Jintai Temple, and Baiteng Lake. The main attractions in Jinwan District include Zhuhai Ocean Ecological Park, Silver Beach, and Sanzao Wanrenfen, etc. In addition to the mainland part of the city, Zhuhai’s outer island area is dotted with many beautiful islands such as Hengqin Island, Qi’ao Island, Wailingding Island, and Guishan Island. On these outer islands, visitors can experience paradise and forget about their worries. Zhuhai is warm and humid all year round.

With fresh air and a clean urban environment, it’s suitable to visit Zhuhai at any time of the year. Each year from May to October is the rainy season, and most of the rain that falls during the whole year is concentrated in this period. There may be also typhoons and heavy rains, therefore, it is recommended to avoid this season and plan your trip during March, April, October, or December. Choose long-sleeved shirts, sweaters and jackets in spring, and bringing thin coat wouldn’t hurt either. In summer, bring short-sleeves, but don’t forget to bring an umbrella. Autumn and spring are similar in that the temperature difference between morning and evening is relatively large, so jackets are good to bring during these seasons as well.

Those who visit may wish to bring along pair of sandals, because when you’re in Zhuhai, you’re never too far from the beach. Zhuhai’s islands are warm, humid, and have many mosquitoes. For this reason, insect repellent is a must. Zhuhai is always sunny and has long sunshine hours and strong UV rays, so make sure to use sunscreen. Sunglasses and sunhats definitely come in handy as well. Zhuhai hotels are relatively densely populated and are located in the bustling city center and tourist attraction areas. At the same time, Zhuhai is close to the sea and there are many rooms with sea views, making them a popular choice for tourists. Zhuhai, known as the garden city, has many islands, long coastlines, beautiful scenery, and excellent conditions for traveling and living.
