Stayed in the hotel for 1 week as a part of a ski holiday package deal. We stayed the St. Josef part which is an annex across from the main building. The hotel: The hotel is very nice overall. There is a mixture of very old and modern - most of it blends well together. The annex is linked to the main building via an unground passage. I think this is the area of the hotel that needs improvement - It is dark and a bit dreary. And one night I decided to head over to the main building for a late drink and a door was locked! So I had to go outside and cross a street to go to the bar! The location of the hotel is very good as its only about 10 minutes walk to the main ski lift. It is also beside the train station where you can go to other ski resorts in the valley or a trip to Innsbruck is very easy from there. The staff: All hard working and helpful. All had good English and I really liked the traditional Austrian type of attire worn by the female staff. I did have one not so pleasant experience with a waiter. It was my first morning, tired and got a coffee from the machine. I had picked the wrong cup and the coffee overflowed and as I lifted it out of the machine some drops spilled onto the tiled floor. The waiter came over and started to give out to me. Not the most pleasant start to my holiday. The room: Our room was nice - spacious and clean. Had two balconies which was nice for airing gear and enjoying the views. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and really decent shower. The room was well serviced every day. The facilities: The facilities in the hotel are good. There is a really nice bar and is a good area to lounge around relax and have a drink. There is a lovely tea room where they offer nice cakes from 2.00-4.30 every day. This is a really nice place to go to after a day on the slopes or touring. There's lots of things for children to do like ping pong, pool, bowling and a kids play room - this hotel is an excellent choice for families. The adult spa is okay but not brilliant for this level of hotel. There were also children down there - one group who went in on their own and another who were brought by their father. Entry needs to be better controlled imo - it shouldn't be up to the guests to tell the children it is an adults only area. I know there are currently constructing a new wing for a new spa area which I believe will be ready for Dec 2024. The food: The food is really good in the Neuhaus. Breakfast is really nice with lots to choose from and evening meals are very good quality and good options available every evening. Overall the Neuhaus is a very good hotel and well worth a visit. I stayed in the strass up the street and the two hotels are very similar in terms of quality. The Neuhaus probably shades it for me overall but the Strass has a much better wellness area. I would recommend the Neuhaus and I would go back myself.

I had a fantastic time. A long weekend snowboarding. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and attentive. Great hotel, excellent food. Definitely will be recommending the hotel to friends. I will also be returning later on in the year or around January time for a longer winter break.

The hotel is large. A mixture of very old and super modern. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly on the whole and the facilities are first class. Great if you want to combine skiing with chilling by the pool or a sauna. The food is the big question mark? Descriptions are somewhat ambiguous and the combination flavours a little strange at times. They insist on squirting a small dab of some sort of cream on nearly everything. Not necessary and not that pleasant. However, if you do not like the mains they will do a schnitzel with chips as an alternative. One gripe is that you have to pay for tap water, which is ridiculous. On the plus the breakfast is first rate, the best we have had in 20 years coming to Austria.

An extremely large and luxurious room with great views accessible by lift or stairs. An amazing buffet breakfast with so many choices to suit everyone’s tastes. Afternoon tea treats a nice touch after a hard day on the mountains. 5 course dinner good but sometimes a limited choice of mains. Hotel facilities are wonderful - just a pity the outdoor heated pool covered early. I would happily stay again.

I recently experienced the best stay at a 4-star hotel. The upgraded loft room by the lake, featuring a personal sauna and spacious, modern amenities, left me utterly stunned. The enormous wardrobe and contemporary design added to the appeal. The breakfast offered an amazing variety, and the included dinner was superb. I'm genuinely impressed by your hotel – an outstanding experience overall.

The dates of our holiday changed and we had to move pur booking to The Neuhaus. Whilst initially unhappy that we were not in the main hotel it actually worked out ok. The rooms were modern and were interconnecting with our son's room. There seems to be quite a bit of building work planned and it does seem strange that the entrance and bar are very traditional and then you enter a state of the art modern dining area but I think further enhancements are planned. The choice of food is extensive, especially the buffet breakfast. A special shout out to Alena and her staff who waited on our table each night. She was exceptional and always greeted us with a smile. She seemed to be working at all hours and didn't have a day off whilst we were there - definitely an asset to the hotel. By comparison the bar staff could be a bit surly and hit and miss. Overall a good stay

Excellent hotel food is amazing. We stayed in the annexe and had a nice big room. Breakfast and evening meal were superb. Ideal for couples and adults now but while we there they were building a new swimming and spa complex with water slides so I think the intention is to cater more for children. The existing natural water swimming pool, also indoor pool and jacuzzi are excellent. Very handy for buses to Hintertux and Schlegeis dam and also the station for Zillertalbahn to Jenbach.
