Gut Stiluppe - Good Life Hotel

Great breakfast buffet, very nice and helpful hotel staff. Class facilities with sauna and pool. The only drawback: no wall box available. Only as an emergency solution a power socket. An adapter for this was not available in the hotel. Therefore my recommendation to the hotel management: Invest in the future. This way you can set yourself apart from other competitors :-)

Beautiful building as well as the entrance area. Also very nice rooms with a small tea/coffee kitchen and refrigerator. Bathroom getting old, but ok. Both very clean, the daily room service was thorough. Thank you at this point. The ski cellar offered enough space to dry the ski boots. The room itself is worn and there is little storage space. There was a very large dining room which was very noisy. We sat in a small cozy room. Breakfast with a nice selection of baked goods, the rest corresponded to a mediocre breakfast buffet, which was always emptied quite quickly due to the number of guests. A coffee machine for all guests led to traffic jams. The request for a pot of filter coffee was unfortunately not complied with. On the website, a four-course menu is promised as part of half-board "With half-board, you can enjoy a 4-course menu with choice every evening with occasional salad and dessert buffets." There was a salad buffet every evening and a mediocre soup from a large pot . A real starter was unfortunately not served. The main course was mostly very good. The desserts varied in quality. The service in the restaurant was unfortunately not good. It was partly due to the language barrier, in the evening a completely arrogant waiter served us. But there were also very nice exceptions. All in all a nice hotel with a very appealing website, unfortunately with major drawbacks. The price/performance ratio is excessive and inappropriate, especially in view of the quality of the food. The rest of the audience was very loud, came in socks for breakfast and in ski gear for dinner. It was also quite noisy in the hallways at night. Of course you can do everything like that, but you shouldn't try to present yourself as a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, it is currently more of a mass processing for the neighbors with the yellow license plates. PS You should earn 5 stars and not buy them for a 50 euro voucher.

The hotel should really only have 3 stars and then I would get full marks. In 4-star hotels, old (worn?) carpeting, no sink in the toilet, unfriendly staff in the restaurant and poor quality of dinner (as if from ready-made products) are unacceptable. But what was very good was the delicious breakfast, great pool for nice and bad weather, beautiful view of the mountains while relaxing in the garden / by the pool
