Dongjiang Lake Lantingxu Chengyuan Homestay

Dongjiang Lake is perfect for a relaxing trip. My friend and I compared several hotels before choosing this one, and its amenities and cleanliness perfectly met our expectations. We arrived quite late in the afternoon, and the owner, a truly wonderful and hospitable man, welcomed us as if we were family. I have to commend his excellent service! 👍 The room's floor was incredibly clean – a real treat for someone who loves walking barefoot. The room had absolutely no strange odors and the air felt very fresh. It even had a fresh air and dehumidification system, and surprisingly, their fresh air system is the same brand as mine at home, meaning both incoming and outgoing air are purified. The duvet was very dry, and all the towels and bath towels were disposable, even the toothbrush cups! You absolutely must try their shampoo; I loved it so much I bought a set from the owner to take home – it's really high-quality! We slept in quite late, completely oblivious to the time, thanks to the incredibly comfortable mattress – it turns out it's a Mousse mattress! Crucially, the soundproofing in this place is superb. Even though there's a walkway right downstairs, we couldn't hear a thing. The scenic area is just a short walk from the hotel's downstairs pathway. We didn't get to visit it, though, haha. The hotel is located right by the river, so you can enjoy the misty views from your room, and even from the hotel lobby. I travel many times a year and have a fair bit of experience choosing hotels. Lantingshu is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, and its facilities and amenities are the best I've encountered. It's truly a high-quality establishment. Trust me, you won't regret staying here!

The hotel owner and housekeeper were both incredibly welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Xiao Dongjiang Scenic Area, just a 10-minute walk away, and the surrounding environment is fantastic – you can get great photos just about anywhere. The hotel's decor is a very modern Wabi-sabi style, and the rooms are spacious. They even upgraded my room type, which made for a very comfortable stay. The only minor drawback is that my room was close to the elevator, so light sleepers might find the noise a bit disruptive. Overall, it's definitely a guesthouse worth returning to.

The B&B environment is fantastic. You can tell the designer and owner put a lot of thought into everything, from the bedding to the overall layout. The room comes with a tea set and tea, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a beautiful river view, especially at night. Highly recommended!

Staying at Lan Ting Xu Cheng Yuan is truly experiencing Dongjiang Lake. Our room had a stunning, unobstructed lake view; opening the window revealed serene green hills and clear waters. On sunny days, the lake sparkled, and when it rained, it was beautifully misty. The guesthouse has its own lovely courtyard, perfect for an afternoon tea by the fire, or a leisurely stroll along the lake in the evening – absolutely idyllic. The public areas are designed with understated elegance, featuring a book bar and a home theater, ideal for gathering with friends or enjoying some quiet time alone. It lacks the formality of a hotel and instead offers the warmth of a home and the relaxation of a vacation. This is definitely a hidden gem and a must-stay guesthouse when visiting Dongjiang Lake.

Staying at Dongjiang Lake Lantingshu Chengyuan B&B was an amazing experience! The room was spotless, and the hygiene was top-notch. The overall design is simple yet high-end, exuding quality in every detail. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can walk to the Dongjiang Lake scenic area, and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making travel and daily life super convenient. It was a comfortable and convenient stay, highly recommended!
