Reviews of Swiss Star Zurich Oerlikon - Self Check-IN

The location was good but that’s about it. The amenities were less than poor. The shower had a tattered curtain which stuck to your body and would wrap you up no matter what, if you removed it the shower head was faulty and would spray the entire room. There was a kettle and fridge but no cups or spoons. The TV did not work. The sofa was dirty and stained. The parking instructions were very poor. Would not recommend.

Everything was broken. We came as a family with 3 children and had booked a 3-bedroom apartment. However, there were only two bedrooms, which looked nothing like the photos. The blinds in one of the rooms were completely broken, making it impossible to sleep. The worst experience ever.

I choose that hotel for a weeding weekend of family. So due the location next to the wedding venue it was convenient. However I have to say this hotel almost feels like a scam, nothing as how they sell on the pictures. All the window shatters of the room were broke, so you could not open them and had basically dark rooms, one room even had no working lights. The bathroom is dirty and in a very bad yellow green light. No blow dryer, and the water boiler machine had no matching plugs or there was no adapter for the plugs. Even communication with the management was bad, because we were parking the car at the spot where it said only peple being guest of the hotel apartment are allowed to park which we were otherwise they would deport the cars, so I wrote them our car plates info's and told them that we parked there for a night then they basiy forced us to park in the garage for extra fee of about 20€ per car. Even though I told them the window shutter were broken, some lights not working etc... And even I was asking ahead for late checkout they never replied until the very day that it's not possible. So no compensation and answers or sending someone to fix the things which were not working. And the whole apartment looks like it is going to fall apart, is old. One of the room could not even open the door to the terasse. Its not worth the money and you are going to feel as if you ère scammed. Bad service and bad rooms. The only positive thing was the location for us due to the closeness to the wedding venue. I don't recommend to stay there

The location of the apartment is at a walking distance from the railway station with many restaurants and shops around. Basic amenities in the apartment , but this is OK for a short stay. Easy check in and check out process.

Extremely terrible experience room look very old and totally different with photo shown! Feel like been cheated

The room wasn't properly cleaned, There was only one small blanket for two people. The shower head was broken with no shower curtain so the water was splashing everywhere each time you take shower, It had this really bad smell in the apartment as soon as you walk in. Only recommended for boys trip, not for couples and families.

Unfortunately, we didn't particularly like the apartment 😔. Above all, we felt that it was not clean. There are coat and urine residues on the curtains, probably from pets. There are also puddles of urine on the floor that have not been completely removed. There is also only a limited selection of kitchen utensils. But the beds and towels were clean. Although the description says that there are parking spaces available, all the parking spaces in front of the house are reserved for renovations.

The location was a bit remote. There was a lot of smoking in the house and it smelled bad. The kitchen was lacking in ingredients.

There are drunk people, no parking space, and the room environment is very bad. Don't come here.

Broken shutters - apartment smells extremely of smoke

Nice environment!

Gute Apartment. Da wir früh abreisen mussten, entschieden wir uns für diese Apartment. Alles war in Ordnung, bis auf die Nachbarn, die laut waren und rauchten...

Zu warm nicht mal ein Ventilator 😞
