we stayed 4 days at La Reserve, for us the best Hotel in Zurich ! the valet service picked us up at the airport and brought us to the hotel. the reception was warm and we felt at home ! we had a room with terrasse and a stunning view to the lake and Alps ! we were surpised by the gift we received from the hotel : a bottle of champagne with macarons ! greath welcoming gift ! we had reserved a table at the Eden Kitchen & Bar restaurant. we were blown away by this excellent cuisine, especially the freshly made panettone with Zabaglione which was a culinary delicacy ! the chefs took time to have a chat and you could really feel the passion they have to present top quality dishes ! they deserve more than 1 Michelin star ! we had asked the hotel to arrange a romantic horse and carriage ride. it was really a hit! we couldn't have visited the old part of Zurich in a better way ! the hotel also has a vaporetto, but unfortunately it was under maintenance. this would have been the icing on the cake of a fantastic holiday. but postponement is not adjustment! we will definitely return in the summer to do that private cruise! we thank all the staff of the hotel for the magnificent moments they offered us !

Location: Excellent. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Zurich Main Station by train from Zurich Airport. This hotel is just across the road from the main train station, one or two hundred meters away. Room environment: Not very new, but completely acceptable. The decoration is relatively exquisite. The suite I booked has free minibar and snacks (except alcoholic beverages/wines) Service: Contact the agent with Ctrip in advance to communicate about early check-in. The answer is that if there is a room available, you can check in in advance. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am and the room was ready for smooth check-in; both the front desk and the door bellman gave us a very friendly feeling. ;After checking out, two bottles of mineral water were given as a gift. Room hygiene: There are two bathrooms in the suite. Toiletries such as toothpaste and toothbrush are provided. Samples of Swiss Dabao skin care products are also provided. There are welcome fruits and turndown service. Good night chocolates are also provided. Breakfast: The dining environment is not big, but the decoration is very nice. The service is also very nice. In addition to the buffet area, you can also order meals, both paid and free. Guests in the suites have champagne breakfast. Those who order for a fee are also free. You can also order a glass of champagne per person. Overall: In Zurich, where land is at a premium, I feel that the price/performance ratio is very high. The only drawback is that there is no view outside the window of my room. It is very close to the building opposite. The advantage of this is that it is relatively quiet. I loved this hotel. The location is central to all the sites. A friend and I stayed there; each in a single room. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, charming, spacious, clean and well lit! I stayed on the 4th floor on Muhlegasse and my friend on the 2nd facing a court yard. The staff was wonderful from check in to check out. A special thank you to Kris at the front desk! He was very sweet and helpful! I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again when in Zurich.

Great and easy check in. Watt and Derrick were very helpful with the check in and info about Zurich. Loved the complimentary drinks at check in. Compact room but very modern with cool amenities. Loved the big and soft towels. Found the hidden hair dryer in a cute pouch. Water pressure in the shower was just right. They also stored our luggage for an extra day. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back to this hotel.

It seems clear to me that the quality of customer service in travel has greatly deteriorated in the last three years. I understand that service providers have trouble finding and retaining people and the ones they have often don’t seem to take pride in their work. Sadly, I’ve come to accept this as the “new normal.” Which is why our recent three-night stay at the Park Hyatt in Zurich was such a welcome surprise. Not only was our room clean and comfortable but the service we received, from start to finish, was efficient and personal. Just a few examples: We had a flight delay and airport transfer difficulty arriving to Zurich and did not get to the hotel until after 1:00. The gentleman working the front desk who checked us in, got us waters, helped with our bags and personally escorted us to our rooms. He was also working the next night when we returned to the hotel after dinner. He spotted us coming through the lobby and literally ran over from the front desk, greeted us by name and asked if our room was acceptable and if there was anything he could do for us. The housekeeping staff are a bunch of ninjas. You never saw their carts in the hall but we’d leave in the morning and when we returned in the afternoon the room was made up. Perfectly. We’d leave for dinner and when we returned the room was turned down. Perfectly. We had drinks the first night at the Onyx Bar. When we returned the next night, the bartender remembered both our names and our drinks. We interacted on several occasions with the daytime concierge. I wish I remembered his name. It wasn’t just that he was knowledgeable about Zurich and responded immediately to our requests. He acted like speaking to us was the absolute highlight of his day. I know these are all little things but they added up to a wonderful stay. Plus, the hotel couldn’t be more conveniently located. Staying at the Park was a luxury item for us but, let’s face it, traveling anywhere in Switzerland is a luxury item. I would return to the Park for their level of personal service in a minute.

The soundproofing of the room is not good, and the noise of the car outside and the children upstairs can't sleep. Other hotels in Switzerland have free transportation cards, which he does not have. While we only spent one night in the hotel on our way home to the USA, I would definitely return. It is exactly what I had hoped for, a unique hotel, with lovely rooms with a view of Old Town. Our room(34) was very comfortable, with a writing desk and an extra chair and table in the room. Our breakfast this morning was perfect. Fresh Juice, Meats, Salmon, and a couple cappuccinos we were ready to go. This hotel should have a 4 or 5 star rating My favorite part of my the stay were the lovely accommodating staff that helped with printing our travel documents, and provided great service at check-in, checkout, and breakfast. After all, it is the people that make for a great experience. Thank you Hotel Florhof.

I had to book this quickly last minute for a company event this week in Zurich but I had no idea that a room (that was previously the OFFICE, as I learned from the receptionist) could be situated next to the rear entrance, where employees enter/leave, smoke and park their motorcycles and bikes? I asked for a better room right when I was checking in but they were full. And no one offered me a better room during the week. I could rarely keep my window open during a warm week here - and the smokers outside didn't make it possible either. I could hear EVERYTHING in the lobby, which is just on the other side of my door and the door to the vestibule. And on top of all this, they charge over $400 a night?? I'm already over budget for this room and I'll have trouble with my company when I file the expense report but what makes this worse is that IT'S NOT WORTH A DIME. The owner is clearly trying to squeeze as much out of tourists as possible. And I wasn't in a position to complain all week when I was working over 12 hours a day. TERRIBLE!!! PS: The staff are nice and breakfast buffet very good.

The hand washing, the toilet and the shower room are separate and convenient. Health is very good. No disposable toothbrushes are provided. There is no air conditioner but there is a fan to catch up with the heat wave in Europe. It is very comfortable to open the window and sleep at night. Overall it is a small and exquisite small hotel, recommended.

The Hotel Rossli was a nice hotel, just not what was advertised on Hotel.com. Hotel.com lists under Main Amenities rooftop terrace and restaurant/bar. Restaurant/bar was closed and there is no roof top terrace. Parking is available at the Parkhaus Opera city parking location, about a ten minute walk to hotel. Be sure to bring ticket to desk and you will receive a discounted parking rate. Room was quite large, especially the bathroom and very, modern and clean. There is an elevator, very small for two people with one carry on piece or one person with checked bag. Room had a Dyson fan, but no AC and it was a little warm for sleeping. Staff was extremely friendly and location of hotel was convenient; near tram lines. This is a couples or maybe business trip hotel; not set-up for families.

I had a booking at Hotel California in July 2023 and they refused to let us check in to our room saying that we should pay for another room for my baby of 1 year and kid of 5 year although their booking policy clearly states that kids below 6 are welcomed and not considered as adults and even we have previously requested an extra bed/crib and they confirmed through booking. Our booking was fully paid in advance and they refused to help us and they were very rude and kept shouting at us and talked in a very rude way and i even asked them to check in the double room with my baby to change the diaper and that my husband will go for another hotel with my kid and they even refused!!! We asked to book another room for 1 night till we see another hotel on the second day and they even refused!!!! The chief called us and she was raising her voice and talking in a rude way and said they choose their customers and that the policy is common sense!!!! When i asked what does it mean concerning kids, she said it means that they don’t pay city tax!!!! And that she doesn’t care for the policy written and if kids are considered persons they should have a room like adults!!! And this is common sense!!! I asked if she can let her kids of 5 and 1 year alone in a room in a different country she said no she won’t but she wants us to do so!!! I asked to make the reservation for two rooms for one night and they even refused and said either to make two rooms for two nights or to leave!!!! And finally they told us that they won’t give us the room and they won’t talk to us as they have work!!!! We told them we r customers and this is also work and they just left us!!!!!! As they said they won’t talk to us about hundreds of euros while they have other important customers paying thousands and that talking to us is a waste of time and they just left us and went downstairs to the restaurant!!! Also, there was clear racism as the receptionist said you are here in Switzerland not in Egypt not in turkey not in the middle east we don’t welcome you here we have more important guests!!!!! While we are traveling the world as a family and paying for this!!! and it’s clearly that she never visited any other country to judge anyone!!! Or even to learn good English in order to be able to communicate with their important guests as she says and to stop interrupting everyone without understanding anything as she has a language barrier and not aware at all of how to deal with customers!!!! Cleary they have no ethics nor professionalism!!! We left the hotel and we booked a double room in another hotel in the same are and they were so friendly and helped us a lot unlike the hotel we originally booked for!!!!! After we contacted booking for the case and requested the full refund and upon communicating with the hotel, they came back to us stating that the hotel claims that we damaged a phone during our stay and that they want 50 euros!!!!! We replied that this is completely unacceptable and

We stayed here one quick night on an overnight layover. It is a bit touristy with a strong ”Zurich theme.” However, it was very comfortable and in a great location in old Zurich which is what we wanted. We arrived in the late afternoon and received chocolate welcome gifts upon check in. We took a guided walking tour of old Zurich that we had arranged separately and ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was pricey, and, again, probably not a place locals go, but we had good fondue and raclette. We had a much better experience than if we would have stayed at an airport hotel. We feel like we really visited Switzerland, if only for a night. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.
