Qinhai Manor, a beautiful seaside accommodation awaits your exploration!

Qinhai Manor, a beautiful seaside accommodation awaits your exploration!

As the sunset glow spills across the sparkling sea, we sit on the balcony of Gulangyu Qinhai Manor Seaview Hotel, listening to the gentle waves lapping against the shore, gazing at the endless ocean view. In this moment, all worries seem to drift away with the wind, leaving only us and this peaceful sea. 🏡【Cozy Home】Gulangyu Qinhai Manor is not just a hotel, but more like a home. The rooms are exquisitely designed, each with its unique style, especially that piano which always stirs up musical feelings, making you want to play a tune. The small balcony is the perfect finishing touch - sitting there watching the sea, it feels as if the whole world has fallen silent. 🌅【Stunning Sunset】The hotel's location is exceptionally advantageous, with sea on three sides and mountains on one. This geography makes the sunset an unmissable spectacle. Every evening, standing by the infinity pool or lying on the balcony lounger, watching the sun slowly sink into the horizon creates an indescribable feeling - time seems to slow down and become beautiful. 🌿【Natural Harmony】Here, every corner reveals the harmonious coexistence of nature and culture. Whether it's the sky mirror or the popular swing, these are perfect spots for photos that will impress your social media followers. The slide in the hotel adds endless fun for children, ensuring both adults and kids find their own joy. 🚗【Thoughtful Shuttle】Considering the inconvenient transportation on the island, the hotel specially provides pier pickup service, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Although getting up the hill requires some effort, all fatigue vanishes the moment you see the hotel. ✨Besides the hotel's charm, nearby attractions are not to be missed. It's just a 2-minute walk to Sunlight Rock to experience the weight of history; an 8-minute walk to the soft beach to enjoy sunshine and sea breeze. The nearby Shuzhuang Garden is also a great choice, where the elegance of classical gardens contrasts interestingly with the vastness of the sea, making visitors reluctant to leave. If you're planning a trip away from the hustle and bustle to reconnect with nature, Gulangyu Qinhai Manor is definitely a must-visit choice. Here, every moment is poetry, every step a painting.

It's very comfortable to live on a high floor and look at the sea. There is a shopping mall near the hotel, and a night market in the evening, so you can eat and go shopping without any delay

Lin Residence | A century-old mansion, still elegant as ever

Lin Residence | A century-old mansion, still elegant as ever

Staying at the most thoughtfully charming hotel on Gulangyu Island, bar none. The experience was simply divine. Next time I visit Gulangyu, this is the only place I'll choose! 🎊 Welcome Gift upon Check-in From the moment of arrival by boat to check-in, the attentive guidance was impeccable. The lobby’s antique decorations, specially crafted drinks at check-in, and the minibar service delighted the kids. Staff patiently answered all the children’s questions and even recommended some lesser-known family-friendly spots. 🪩 Room Features The room setup perfectly meets high-end needs, spacious and bright, every snapshot feels like a cinematic scene. The biggest surprise was the PG large bathtub in the room, with delicate material, and the BYREDO toiletries’ fragrance was very appealing. The Japanese Noritake white porcelain coffee cups paired perfectly with the room’s dining table! Hotel Dining 💯💯💯💯 Completely shattered my stereotypes about hotel food; it was so delicious I could have all three meals there. The scallion sauce abalone paired with refreshing bamboo shoots in the restaurant is a must-try! ✅ Excellent Location Open the window to see Gulangyu’s greenery and red tiles, just a few minutes’ walk to the main attractions, peaceful yet lively. The vintage charm and high-end comfort blend perfectly, leaving a deep sense of satisfaction. ⛳️ About the Attractions The nearby Haitiantang Building is one of Gulangyu’s top ten architectural sites, and its puppet shows are great for kids. Since we stayed at Lin Residence, curiosity led us to visit Shuzhuang Garden. The original owner of Lin Residence was also the owner of Shuzhuang Garden, giving us a deep appreciation of the wealthy and refined lifestyle of merchants from a century ago. Although this Gulangyu trip was only two days, choosing the right hotel and slowing down our pace made the overall experience very fulfilling. Gulangyu is perfect for relaxing strolls and leisurely exploration.

A Peaceful Canvas of Color

#discoverchina Nanputuo Temple in Xiamen stands out with its colorful beauty. Bright red walls, golden roofs, and intricate paintings bring the temple to life. Lanterns sway gently, adding to the vibrant scene. Despite the rich colors, the atmosphere remains peaceful. Soft incense fills the air, and the sound of chanting drifts quietly through the halls. Surrounded by green hills and calm ponds, the temple feels like a vivid yet soothing retreat.

4 Days 3 Nights in Xiamen!

4 Days 3 Nights in Xiamen!

Who says going to Xiamen means expensive homestays and crowded places? As a travel blogger who has traveled through eight markets on a bowl of satay noodles and spent a whole night listening to the rain in an old villa on Gulangyu Island, I completed the most romantic coastal trip of my life with a solid budget of 2,958 RMB — a 4-day, 3-night slow life in Xiamen. Less Crowded Sea Viewing Spots: Fewer People, Beautiful Scenery, Exclusive Sea Views

Less Crowded Sea Viewing Spots: Fewer People, Beautiful Scenery, Exclusive Sea Views

If you don’t want to be packed in crowded popular beaches, this guide to lesser-known seaside spots is perfect for you. From tranquil tidal flats to hidden sea viewing points, experience the undiscovered charm of Xiamen’s coastline. 🌅 Less Crowded Sea Viewing Spots: Fewer People, Beautiful Scenery, Exclusive Sea Views Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park・Sea Viewing Boardwalk This is not a traditional beach but a sea viewing boardwalk surrounded by greenery. The boardwalk extends along Wuyuan Bay, with a calm bay on one side where egrets often skim the water’s surface; on the other side, dense mangroves rustle in the breeze. Taking a walk here in the early morning or evening, you’ll hardly encounter many people and can see the distant Wuyuan Bay Bridge. Every photo you take is fresh and soothing. It’s also convenient to get here—take Metro Line 2 to “Wuyuan Bay Station” and walk 10 minutes to the boardwalk entrance. Xitouxia・Quiet Coast Next to the “Wedding Photography Base” Xitouxia is famous for its wedding photography base, but few know there’s a hidden small beach beside it. The beach is short but has fine sand and clean water, and most importantly, very few tourists. There are several colorful small houses by the beach, which, combined with the blue sky and sea, make for great photos. Come after 3 PM when the sunlight is softer; sitting on the beach listening to the waves feels more relaxing than at popular beaches. It’s easy to reach by cycling along Huandao Road, and there are free parking spots nearby. Shizhoutou Beach・View “Sunset Over the Sea + City Silhouette” This is a secret beach often visited by locals, located on the eastern section of Huandao Road, near Yefeng Village but quieter. The advantage here is that you can see both the sunset over the sea and the city silhouette of Xiamen Island. At dusk, the sunset dyes the sea orange-red, and the outlines of distant skyscrapers gradually blur, creating a particularly atmospheric scene. There are rocks by the beach, and at low tide, you can pick up small sea snails. It’s perfect for those who enjoy quietly watching the sunset.
