Anping travel guide and discussion

When it comes to classic sweets in Tainan's Anping district, this is the place! I visited "Tongji Anping Douhua," a famous shop that's incredibly popular with both locals and tourists. 🥰 🌿 Recommended! A report on their exquisite douhua and drinks ① The irresistible bouncy texture of this classic treat I ordered the classic white douhua topped with plenty of tapioca pearls! The smooth, melt-in-your-mouth douhua, the chewy texture, and the gently sweet syrup were a perfect match, instantly relieving my walking fatigue✨ ② Perfect for a hot day! Cold black tea I hesitated between milk tea and black tea, but ultimately chose the traditional black tea. It was a very hot day, so something cold was incredibly refreshing, and it paired perfectly with the gently sweet douhua🍵 ③ So many tempting items on the menu! Looking around, shaved ice also seemed very popular🍧 Furthermore, the "bucket of douhua" on the menu was incredibly impressive, and I couldn't help but be curious…! ④ Relaxing Atmosphere The shop has a well-equipped eat-in space, allowing you to relax and enjoy your meal while soaking up the local atmosphere. A very popular spot, perfect for a stop during your sightseeing in the Anping area! When you visit Tainan, be sure to try the exquisite smooth and gentle-tasting douhua and refreshing drinks! 🥰 I also post other overseas food information! →#MyOverseasFoodTrip #TongjiAnpingDouhua #Anping #AnpingFood #TaiwanFood #TaiwanCafe #TaiwanTravel #TaiwanTourism #Tainan #TainanFood

The Anping Marquis Tomb Site Exhibition at Anfu Museum is the museum’s highlight, featuring a unique combined tomb and museum display model. The site is located in the Fengshan area north of Anfu County. In August 2019, during construction, a “jia”-shaped vertical pit wooden coffin tomb from the middle to late Western Han period was discovered. After evaluation by cultural relic experts from inside and outside the province, and based on the tomb’s structure, scale, and unearthed artifacts, it was confirmed that the tomb owner was Liu Xi, the first-generation Anping Marquis of the Western Han. Liu Xi was enfeoffed in the first year of Emperor Yuan’s reign (48 BC), and his fief was located in the then Anping County (now within Anfu County). This discovery provides an important benchmark for studying the burial customs and regulations of high-ranking tombs in Western Han Jiangxi.‌ Anfu County Museum began construction in 2022 on the original tomb site, adopting an “in situ protection and on-site display” approach. ‌Authentic site presentation‌: In the Han tomb site exhibition hall “Archaeological Excavation · Underground Spring and Autumn,” the original tomb pit’s soil sealing layer is preserved, allowing visitors to directly see the tomb pit structure after excavation. ‌Immersive scene restoration‌: Around the tomb pit, the museum has recreated models of the Anping Marquis’s life scenes, including clothing, food, housing, transportation, and entertainment. The visit takes about half an hour.

This place is now on my list of places I'll definitely revisit. This time, I ordered the Peeled Chili Chicken Soup, Signature Braised Chicken Leg Rice, Deluxe Braised Platter, and Basil Pork Rice. Each dish was unique. 🌶️ **Basil Pork Rice (Standard Medium Spicy)** The medium spicy flavor is genuinely spicy, not just fragrant. It's very satisfyingly spicy and goes perfectly with rice. A must-order for anyone who loves spicy food. 🍗 **Signature Braised Chicken Leg Rice** The chicken leg is incredibly tender; the meat easily separates from the bone with a gentle touch of chopsticks. The meat is juicy and flavorful. 🍲 **Peeled Chili Chicken Soup** The broth is sweet with the aroma of peeled chilies. It's smooth and mild, not overly spicy, perfect for soup lovers. 🥢 **Deluxe Braised Platter** The braised pork belly, large intestine, kelp, dried tofu, and dried scallops are all incredibly flavorful. Each item is perfectly seasoned, perfectly matching my preference for strong flavors. The food is unique and the portions are generous. It's a restaurant I'd always come back to and would recommend to friends. 📍Soupy Fun Chef 🏠 No. 593, Jianping 7th Street, Anping District, Tainan City #HuaYeRecommendation #TripMoments #Tainan #Anping #SoupyFun #BasilPork #BraisedChickenLegs #PeeledChiliChickenSoup #BraisedFood #TainanFood

Anping Tree House is like stepping into a Miyazaki Hayao animation – a real-world dreamscape all gathered here! 🌿✨ I've always found the name "Anping" incredibly endearing, meaning "stability and peace." This historic harbor town is truly a melting pot of Chinese and Western cultures: Dutch, Spanish, Han Chinese, Japanese… all sorts of people have left their mark here, and there are stories to discover at every turn. The highlight of this trip was, of course, the long-awaited Anping Tree House (Address: No. 108, Gubao Street, Anping District, Tainan City; Opening Hours: 08:30-17:30)! It's completely taken over by nature; the sprawling banyan trees have grown wildly, "eating up" the walls, window frames, and roof – the style is truly like a mysterious world from a Ghibli animation 🪴🍃 Incredibly, Anping Tree House was originally a warehouse of the Deji Foreign Firm during the Japanese occupation, which was abandoned for decades and then relentlessly swallowed up by nature. As dusk falls, the shadows cast by the setting sun create a stunningly romantic and dreamlike atmosphere, making every snapshot a work of art! Inside the treehouse is a small mirrored art installation, resembling a giant kun fish structure (like navigating an animated maze). You can climb the walkway to embrace this space where time and greenery blend seamlessly. Standing inside the treehouse, you truly marvel at how peacefully human civilization and nature can coexist. 🍃🫶 Walking between history and nature, every step is healing, every breath of air so relaxing. For those who love greenery and a sense of mystery, this place is definitely worth a hundred visits! 🌳 Want to step into an animated scene in an instant? Anping Treehouse must be on your Tainan itinerary! Basic Information | Anping Treehouse Address: No. 108, Gubao Street, Anping District, Tainan City (Next to Anping Fort, super easy to find!) Opening Hours: 08:30-17:30 Tickets: Full price $50/person, discounts available for students and Tainan residents! (Please refer to trip.com for details, you won't be disappointed!) Recommended to visit in the evening, the light and shadow effects are most stunning, every photo is breathtaking! #thingstodo #naturalwonders #taiwan #Tainan

The magical combination of moonlight, glistening water, gentle breezes, and chirping insects is the perfect seasoning for your Anping getaway. Be sure to pack a light jacket and comfortable slippers, as it can get a bit chilly during evening lakeside walks. For daytime adventures, prep your sun protection in advance. Transportation Guide Attractions in Tainan are quite clustered, making them easy to explore on foot; for Jinjiang and Zhengzhou, taking a taxi or public transit is highly recommended, as some scenic spots are more spread out. #SeptemberGoodDestination2025 Taicheng, Anping County, a revolutionary base area steeped in glorious history, is a renowned red tourism destination on the central Hebei Plain. It served as a crucial base during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation. Visiting Taicheng, you can visit revolutionary sites, monuments, and exhibition halls, reliving the arduous years of war. The spirit of the revolutionary martyrs' heroic struggles and sacrifices still resonates throughout this land. 🌈Theme Features: The hotel's exterior has a retro design, perfectly integrated into the ancient building complex of Anping Shenggu Temple. The interior adopts Chinese decoration style, with a reasonable layout and soft colors, showing the elegance and refinement of oriental aesthetics! 🏘️Room type/layout: The room is square and large, with a reasonable space layout, combining movement and stillness, and is very comfortable for accommodation and work The lobby lounge area is equipped with rosewood furniture, showing luxury! There is a row of bamboo forests on each side of the hall entrance, which, combined with the Chinese-style appearance, is very relaxing! 🧹Soundproofing/sanitation: It was relatively quiet during my stay, so the soundproofing should be good. The sanitary conditions are quite good. To be honest, this standard is far beyond expectations for a small county in the north. I like this! 🖼Restaurant environment: The restaurant is located on the fifth floor of the hotel. It is a Chinese buffet. The ingredients of the food are all from the hotel owner’s farm and food company. The pastries are also certified as green food. This is really amazing [Awesome][Awesome][Awesome] 💗Other tips: The hotel has its own parking lot in the courtyard, which is very large. A few steps out of the hotel is the local old-fashioned life square, which is very convenient for shopping and there are many delicious foods [TeaDrinker][TeaDrinker][TeaDrinker]

An old-fashioned egg pancake shop near Anping. Although there are not many flavors, the taste is great. I ordered vegetable flavor and cheese flavor. The egg pancake portion is enough for one person to eat. The crust is still delicious when you take it home and it won't get hard. It's worth visiting again when you have time.
