Best to do in Antalya

It worth staying in the city of Antalya, instead of going to the All Inclusiv Hotels near Antalya. There is a lot do in city center. You can visit the old town with a lot of nice old buildings, and have great Turkish food. But there are also amazing beaches in Antalya. Like the beach in Lara. Just take a bus from the city and have a beer there and enjoy the great sunset! #beachlife #sunset #foodie

Turkey self-driving sapphire on the D400 If you drive and happen to go to Turkey, promise me, don't miss the treasure town of Kas-Kash on the D400. Beauty can't move open, don't want to go when you come! We are picking up the car in Antalya. It takes about three hours to drive to Kas. It is a coastal road all the way. It is best to start early. The D400 is really beautiful! The town of is very small. It is reserved for half a day. It is very recommended to take a walk around the town. The first picture is taken at the beach of Kas, the deep blue bone! The friend who drives is recommended to live in the middle of the mountain, you can look at the sunrise and sunset of the town, it is beautiful! If you don't drive, it is more convenient to live in the town. We also booked the Antalya pick-up car in advance and Izmir changed the car on the 3rd. Half of the road will travel along the coastline on less than 200 kilometers. I've been traveling since I quit my job two months ago, and I'm currently in Turkey. I'm a solo traveler and really enjoy traveling alone, without companions, without conflicts, without needing to discuss what time to get up, where to go next, or what to eat later. It's completely at my own pace, free and happy. During these days in Fethiye and Kaş, I've completely fallen in love with these places. Every day I bask in the Mediterranean sun, watch the sunset on the beach, feel the sea breeze, take walks, and swing on swings. Wherever I go, there are adorable animals keeping me company, watching the sunset with me, waiting for the bus, having breakfast, but actually, they seem to enjoy their lives even more than I do. My first day in Kaş wasn't very smooth, as I spent a lot of time looking for the bus station to the island, wasting a lot of time. The next day it rained, and I couldn't go out. But this place is so beautiful, every moment I see the scenery, I feel like I'm being healed. Moreover, here, every moment I feel so happy, and my ability to perceive happiness is getting stronger. Little things can make me happy for a long time. When I walk on the beach, feel the wind, and swing, I feel so happy. When I walk alone on the island, looking at the azure Mediterranean, I feel so happy. When the rain stops and the sun shines on the balcony of the guesthouse, I feel so happy. When I stand on the top of the hill looking at the beautiful scenery of the whole town, I feel so happy. When I hold the warm clothes that have just been washed in my arms, I also feel so happy... There are so many happy moments, sometimes I even worry a bit because I know there will be ups and downs. I'm so happy now, will this happiness slip away in a few days? Lower Duden Waterfall - Antalya, Turkey

Absolutely gorgeous waterfall that spills over the Antalya city cliffs from the Duden River into the Mediterranean sea. Definitely worth visiting! Lower Duden Waterfall is around 8 km away from the Antalya city centre. We went there by taxi from Old Town (Kaleici) and it took less than 15 minutes to get there. There is also Duden Park next to the waterfall where you can go for a walk, take nice pictures, have a lunch and watch the panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. There are two Duden waterfalls in Antalya region. This is Lower Duden waterfall. Upper Duden waterfall is also in the city, but it’s further away and it takes more time to get there and it isn’t open 24/7 like Lower Duden Waterfall. #mountainview

most beautiful beach in Antalya

this is one of the most beautiful beaches in Antalya. i have stayed here for 2 weeks, we rent an Airbnb here just 15 mins walk to this beach. there are lots of restaurants on the beach where you are able to get good food and watch sunset at the same time. you have to pay for sun beds for the most of the time, but it’s easy to spend a full day here. The beach itself is not too Sandy its quite Stoney, however it is a great place to get tanned and swim. the water is quite warm and clean. in the beginning of the beach, you will find lots of fitness equipments and bike rentals where you can do some workout or rent a bike to cruise around the coast. this is one of my fav holidays destinations in turkey, I strongly recommend to everyone #passionpassport #staycation #gooutside #mountainview

It was my first time seeing the sea 🥰 Antalya was the best choice so far… The location is Konya-Alti beach. There were so many restaurants and luxury hotels near. It was the best thing we can rent a car and travel everywhere around the city.#antalya

Konyaalti beach is a long stretch beach along the coast of Antalya, overlooking the crystal clear Mediterranean waters. There a lot of beach clubs in the coast that will let you rent sun beds for 35-200TL. They sell drinks and snacks upon your request! However, if you don’t wanna pay money to rent the beds, there are parts of the beach where you can lay down for free. It is a must see place in Antalya! The old town, named Kaleici, is a great place to spend a day walking and exploring this wonderful town full of history. It has more than two thousand years of history! Numerous historical monuments are collected here. Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans – they all left their traces in Kaleici in the form of their characteristic architecture. Perfectly restored whitewashed and red-roofed Ottoman mansions are now home to boutique hotels, souvenir shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. Kaleici is a home to Hadrian’s Gate, dates back to Roman Empire Period (130 A.D.), Yivli Minaret Mosque builded in 13th century, Broken Minaret Mosque had been builded as a temple in 2nd century by Romans and turned into a Byzantion church and many other. Visitors will be able to see lots of architecture from different centuries just by walking around the Old Town. Keleici A Feast Of All The Senses ❤️

Old Town Kaleici is a historic neighborhood located in the heart of the modern Turkish resort city of Antalya on the Mediterranean coast. It is considered a popular tourist attraction. It is famous not only for its Ottoman architecture, labyrinthine narrow winding streets, and authentic mosques but also for its numerous restaurants, cafes, and bars with concert halls. There are historical monuments from different periods and eras. If you are interested in history and ancient architecture, visit this atmospheric location. On the plus side, Kaleici has a beautiful marina surrounded by cliffs, shops and restaurants. Walking around the Old Town Kaleici is interesting due to history and architecture with lots of interesting local shops. The town is built on a hillside so you are either walking upbank or down bank interspersed with steps here and there - people with mobility issues might struggle getting around. There is a great tram service that takes you into Antalya city or local beaches. Also lots of taxis. There are plenty of money exchange bureaus and we found the exchange rates much better there than at at home. The scenery here in Kaleici is so beautiful that it is the most memorable place in Turkey. When I went there, the sun was shining, just out of the blue Mediterranean Sea, allowing me to quietly admire the city.  There is a variety of food stores, specialty shops, local people on the road, and leisurely fishing on the shore that you can find. You can stop for a cup of apple tea in the outdoor seating of the café. You can purchase lovely tea sets in one of the many shops on the street as well. It is the perfect place for a lazy vacation in the sun.
