Starting from Glasgow, I joined a Highland mini-tour to explore some of Scotland's most stunning sights. Our first stop was Glencoe—the towering peaks and rugged landscape instantly captured the "Outlander" vibe. I also visited a historic local church; the architectural details were exquisite, and the small garden outside was the perfect spot for photos 📸. Then we headed to Castle Stalker. This historic medieval tower house, built in 1320, sits on the shores of Loch Laich and looks like something straight out of a fairytale! There were so many incredible photo ops. In the afternoon, we traveled across the vast expanse of Rannoch Moor. Seeing the sunlight hit the open fields really showcased the wild, natural beauty of Scotland. Our final stop was the legendary Loch Lomond, part of Scotland’s first national park, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs. The lake and mountain views were incredibly relaxing! 🌄 Even though it wasn't a perfectly sunny day, the light rain and mist actually added a layer of mystery to the scenery. Sitting proudly on a tiny tidal islet in Loch Laich, the castle is surrounded by water and framed by the hills beyond, creating a scene that feels both magical and dramatic. You cannot always visit inside, as access is limited, but even seeing it from the shore is an experience in itself. The reflections on the loch, especially at sunset, make it a dream spot for photographers. There is a sense of mystery about its history, and the remote setting adds to its charm. Castle Stalker may be small compared to other castles, but it leaves a lasting impression with its beauty and timeless atmosphere.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience during my recent stay at this hotel from Wed, August 7 to Sat. August 10. Unfortunately, several issues made my stay extremely uncomfortable and far from the standard I expected. Poor Sound Insulation: The noise levels in our room were intolerable, making it difficult to rest peacefully. Lack of Housekeeping Service: During our 3-day stay, there was no cleaning service provided at all. This is unacceptable and does not meet basic hotel standards. Substandard Room Quality: The condition of the room was highly disappointing, with a severely sagging mattress that made sleeping uncomfortable, and visible mold in the bathroom, which raises serious health concerns. Bed Bug Infestation: Worst of all and most certainly a consequence of this situation, we experienced bites that appear consistent with bed bugs. This is absolutely unacceptable and poses a significant health risk. I have attached photos that clearly document these issues. Given the combination of these problems, the experience did not meet even the most basic expectations for comfort, cleanliness, and safety.

It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I
