On the third day, we went to the Chengde Mountain Resort. The most interesting part was the houses made of Phoebe zhennan wood (we handled them quite a bit!). There's a shuttle service within the scenic area (optional, but we had elderly people and children with us). For travel, I recommend choosing this option as it's very convenient. On the fourth day, visit Saihanba Forest Park to see the results of generations of tree planting (they deserve our praise, it's truly remarkable). In the afternoon, visit the Bashang Grassland (horse riding, archery, grass skiing, and equestrian performances are all good).
